Recommend me an xbox arcade game

As the title says looking to get some arcade games from live.
What games do you play and what are the best ones.

Limbo, I only played the demo but I`ve bought it on a Xbox Live
Hits Collection disk rather than downloading and on the disk you
get Trials HD which is supposed to be pretty good and one called
splosion man that I have no idea what it`s about. I got it for a
tenner a few weeks ago but it`s now up to £13 so might be
cheaper elsewhere?

Here`s a couple of links for free ones as well. Ones a sorta
driving /shooter and the others a obsticle/puzzle/platformer.
Nothing great but defo playable.

If you can get hold of the disc Mac is talking about for a
tenner, you'll love it. They're all technically platform games
but so different in style from each other. I always recommend
Shadow Complex but keep an eye on the DotW. It's been a bit lax
recently with add-ons but this week is a bunch of XBLA games.
Including Hard Corps. Which is bloody hard indeed. If you add
KennyEVO6 onto your FL he's always more MS points than sense and
will have bought and played every game you want a review on.

Outland - 800msp - very good platformer. Adds a twist as you
need to change colour for the puzzles. If you have played
Ikaruga, then you will understand the polarity mechanic.
Braid - 800msp - probably the best xbla game that I have played,
maybe even the best game I have ever played. An excellent
platform / puzzler that has a time travel mechanic.
Ikaruga - 800msp - simply the best SHUMP to be released ever.
(I am biased towards this game).
Beyond Good and Evil HD - 800msp - If you played the original
you may like this.
Shadow Complex - 1200msp - think Castlevania meets a shooter.
Good game, plenty of depth and upgrades available to keep you
interested.
All Sonic games are currently on sale as well as part of Sonics
20th anniversary.
Stacking - 600msp (as of next Tuesday) - puzzle game made by
doublefine. They have produced some excellent platformers.
Torchlight - 800msp (as of next Tuesday) - dungeon crawler with
RPG mechanic. Plenty of loot to collect as well.
I suggest downloading the demos and trying them out before you
purchase tho.

@Jarv84 I think Coop is a PS+ subscriber too so he'll have got
Stacking and Braid free from them. Same with Sonic. But that's
great news with Torchlight. Definitely gonna have to get that.
Have heard good things. Now if they'd just get around to
discounting Breach I'll be happy

@Echo, thanks for the tip. Did you like Breach? Have you
played the new Section 8: Prejudice game? If your after a
shooter, then that is supposedly alot better than Breach, tho
cant tell you for sure as I havent played either!
Also, check out the Summer of Arcade deals. Insanely Twisted
Shadow Planet looks absoultely amazing. Also a game called
Trenched is on the way that is supposed to be very good.

Every year the Summer arcade has a "buy everything by this date
and we'll give you something free" deal. It's been MSP the last
2 years. This year it's an extra game. But either way, they're
always discounted by xmas. That's when I got Limbo, MNC etc. All
half price. It NEVER pays to buy stuff straight away any more.
Saying that thoughh, Toy Soldiers: Cold War looks sweeeeeeeeet

Yeah i am echo quite fancy ikaragu also has anyone tried the
new version of pacman heard its pretty good

Pacman CE: DX? Yup got it, love it. Pacman haz bombs. But again,
it's already been discounted twice. So unless you're in a
massive hurry or loaded you should wait because it probable will
be again
