360 Fifa Clubs Team Talk

Ok guys i have been asked by the team captain to have a bit of a
team talk to see if we can get the 360 Club back on track .
Over the last few weeks we have had the worst run of defeats in
GD United`s history and what once was fun is now a chore :(
I ask all team members to think back to the winning days and try
and remember why we was winning ............ ( waits while you
think back )
Right this is how i see it and i am not having a go at anyone
here as we play for fun but winning is fun also ;D . We all
play in our chosen positions and this is where i think the issue
is , As a team we should stay ( within reason ) in the chosen
positions and play as a team because as of late in some games we
have had 5 players all trying to good for the 1 ball in the area
and have not found the net like we used to and this has lead to
many a break away goal due to the fact we had hardly any
midfield and this has left the defence exposed .
If we had stayed in roughly your playing positions we may have
had a chance to stop said attack and won back the ball . Please
dont take this as a whinge/moan or pointing the finger i just
want to go back to winning ways .
Also if you are bored in your position and fancy going up
front/being a midfield general/The rock at the back then all you
have to do is say we often swap positions around and maybe this
will make the team fresh again and it maybe that you are good
and want to stay in the new position but please lets not all
bomb forward or call for passes which never in a million years
will reach you , sometimes the best pass is the simple pass and
the winning goal may come from hanging back to collect that
loose ball .
Lets get back to winning ways and lets become the GD United of
old .

yes, myself and nutsy have been discussing clubs recently and
this is what we think needs to be changed for it to be much more
enjoyable for all.
lately on the pitch things have become very disorganised,
midfielders bombing forward up as far as the strikers, even the
defence occasionally going gung ho and abandoning their
positions. note that in a time of war deserters will be shot!
with everyone piling up front, it is actually a hindrance to
attacks rather than a help as things get far too congested,
which attracts more defenders and attacks break down too easily.
we usually play in a 442 position, in which the midfield are to
AID the attack with linking passes, as well as getting back to
give the defence additional support. but when we play as if we
have 4/5 strikers it just can't work and personally in my usual
position of centre mid its frustrating that I'm often the only
one who is disciplined, supports the defence and doesn't go
rallying into the opposition box.
if any of you would like to state their preferred positions then
do so, if you would like opportunities up front then we can
arrange something but maintaining the formation is crucial to
success and everyone knows winning is fun, which is what its
supposed to be about

Seems fair enough.
I'll go where I'm told or wherever is free. If I occasionally
fall out of position or spend too much time chasing the ball
then all I can do is apologise.
Im relatively new to clubs so I dont want to speak out of turn,
however when I first joined there was a lot more communication,
as of late there has been little/none.
Apart from the occasional 'well in' or 'for f%$K sake!' nobody
seems to speak all that much.
I think this may be detrimental.
Personally speaking though, if people are finding my lumbering
buffoon of a 'pro' getting in their way or causing congestion,
just say! I'm not going to take offence :)

yeah toby you're right about the communication. the other night
the only sound being made in the world's quietest party was me
moaning haha so i unplugged my mic and left it
also on my part, my mic seems to only pick up my voice when it
feels like it which is annoying. probably need a new, better one
but im cheappp

This thread is not aimed at anyone it is more of a starting
block to let players air their views on what is going wrong/way
to get back to winning ways .
The moment it starts the finger pointing i will just delete :)

I'm happy to play anywhere but i prefer it in midfield , a few
things to remember is that all our "pro's" are different ratings
, i think mines around the 78 mark championship levelish , so
more times than not we're up against higher rated pro's.
I love playing clubs for GD united coz (i thought) everyone is
reasonable happy in the positions they play in and it save what
to me is a chore to keep editing my pro wasting valuable time on
the pitch.
If there is one annoying thing in clubs it's the calling for the
ball when not in the best position to receive the ball , which
everyone is guilty of from time to time , although sometimes its
the dopey AI , but if there's one thing to work on , then thats
top of my list. Having said that if Gd united turns to serious
as did AFC Gamerdads some nights, then im not interested.
Communication , I can't get on my mic in the evenings as im only
yards away from my kid trying get to sleep and whenever he hears
me talking to people he's up and in the room , obviously if we
all had mic's on it would help with team play , but i don't see
this as vital tbh.

I agree with what has been said but I feel that for players who
don't play upfront or in midfield often, don't think they can
ask to play in those positions.
When I start clubs, I already know where people are playing
before I get to the club screen and this isn't an attack at
these players, its just shows that all players expect this too.
Rotating the squad will not be the solution to the problem but I
feel some players need to know what its like playing in defence
for a few games and see why some (including myself) like to join
the attack.
One other thing I have noticed is that players upfront and in
midfield get a lot of praise for scoring good goals or making
great passes. When in defence you get the few "nice tackle"
comments but its not the same as scoring a winning goal for your
team. I am not saying that you need to shout out great tackle
for every tackle made, I am saying that defence needs to look
like a fun position to play in.
As most people on the team know, I am happy to play anywhere on
the pitch but I also would like to play as a forward again.

I'm pretty sure I say "well in" for every good tackle our
players make, even when the ai make a good tackle! I guess your
all quiet if stev an myself ain't on! We can chat for England.

I didn't mean that nobody says nice tackle or anything like
that, its not the same feeling as scoring a goal or making a
great pass which results in a goal.

I see your point Marc, it doesnt have the same 'glory' feeling.
To be honest, its lonely at the back and I quite enjoy playing
back there, but im not very good and dont want to let the side
down, I just cant take the pressure maaaan
