MW2 for free?

Haven't tried it yet (will download over night) but apparently
can play MW2 for free on PC.
This might already be common knowledge but I'm a PC gaming noob
so have mercy on me!

thanks for the advice. the link came from thetrout91, a fairly

I`m a natural sceptic so suspicious of everything so what sets
me off here is Activision letting something go for free? Doubt
it but that being said I could be wrong.

Got it, works fine.
The only issue I have is I'm a complete n00b on PC. Can't even
walk, run or even strafe lol
There's modded gamemodes as well such as one in the chamber, gun
game, sharpshooter etc but no way am I even going in there until
I get the controls locked down.

This is a hack on IWnet that allows pirate versions to play
online, so I think that's what you have there mate. Activision
do not support this.
