oh I raged alright when Van Persie was sent off...just
ridiculous. sky worked out that there was a second between the
whistle blowing and him shooting, a SECOND! and thats when I
wasn't able to hear the whistle being blown for most of the
match because of the crowd, even with microphones all around the
pitch. just insane. if uefa don't do anything about it....
for the rest of the match it was more calm acceptance of their
goals etc, but am happy how we were beating them with 11 men &
only lost by 1 goal against the worlds best team when down to
       10. two games in a row now where referee has cost us

van persie shouldnt have been sent off but these stats say alot.
tho im sure sky flashed up last night attempts 19 - 0 and they
dont even have a decent defence but by fk can they close down
teams when the other team has the ball.

If football was played on stats Arsenal would be top of the
premiership and carling cup holders at this moment. Don't get me
wrong Barca deserved the win just like Arsenal deserve a lot
more wins than they get but that's football. Fact is RVP was
sent of at 1 all and affected the game. He was silly getting his
first yellow mind. If RVP was still on the pitch instead of
bentdnar he may have scored at the end when J Wiltshire sent him
through 1 on 1 and got the 1 goal we needed.
But fair play Barca were by a mile the better team

Bender is crap. Sorry, I meant Bender. Damn! Keep getting his
name wrong.....Bender! Oh ffs! Bender!? Bender!? Bendtner....got
there in the end. He's a complete waste of space. Wenger should
of put him on loan, not Carlos Vela.
We need another world class striker, some decent defenders, and
a world class keeper. But until Wenger takes his blind fold off
and see's that we need those players, I doubt we'll win
anything. Yeah we're good, but we're not that good.....just yet.

I think Vela is nowhere near ready to play at our level
consistently yet, and wonder if he will ever make the step up.
so far he has managed some (nice) goals in the carling cup but
when he has got a chance in the PL he was completely
ineffective. sure he's even a sub for west brom at the minute
although he came on and got a couple of goals lately
I think Szczesny can become world class, has shown great
potential and strong performances. even almunia can give great
performances like against barca but I'm happier with Szczesny
being first choice. Fabianksi's improvement this season has
kinda been forgotten about since the younger Pole emerged.
Koscielny and Djourou have been good for most of the time. I
think that the media and fans imagine that signing world class
players is easier than it actually is
