COD Black Ops

Am I the only idiot that keeps on buying the new maps for the
PS3??
I say idiot because it seems to be frowned upon that anyone
would think of paying £11.49 for hours and hours of online
entertainment.
Anyway, I played an hour on them last night and I've got to say
I enjoyed the 3 I managed to get on were brilliant. Strangely
they are bigger than some of the maps we're used to with COD
games, so it will help mix the play up a bit.

To me £11.49 for three maps is way over priced and no way would
I pay it but, it`s your cash Baz so if you wanna spend it on
something you think is good value best of luck to you.

There's four maps, I've just only had time to try three of them
so far.
I agree it's a lot of money, but I feel I can get value from
them with the hours I will put into them and that's what's
important.

I thought the maps were better value for money than the mw2 dlc.
Plus you get the new zombie map which will give you hours of
game time on its own.
Its worth the money, if only to keep the game from stagnating.

I'm enjoying them so far, they bring a good mix to the game now
as the maps seem bigger than the rest.

I downloaded them at the weekend. I thought that they were good.
Sufficiently different to the standard maps to make it
worthwhile buying ! Paid £12 to watch a crap film at the cinema.
Had 4 hours out of First Strike at £11.49 so far which will
increase A LOT !

I base value on hours played as well, and so far I've had hours
and hours on them, so I'm more than happy.

Good stuff! I do like the fact they are getting more adventurous
with map design and interactivity.
Its almost like a test for future designs.
Ive got my monies worth out of the zombie addition, but then
again, I'm a zombie fanboy

Not played Zombies at all, never have done. Really happy with
rest of the maps though.
Reckon you could be right, these are different map styles which
could mean they're planning this type for future games.

It's time for me to be an idiot again tomorrow (even though I've
never stopped) and buy the new Escalation maps.
Am I alone, or will anyone be getting them and joining me for
some double XP over the weekend?
