Do you have a show/game footage/walkthrough/video blog, etc that
you would like to share with the wider gaming community, both
Gamerdads and non-gamerdads?
Have you always wanted to have a go at making an internet video,
but are not sure where to start?
Then help is at hand! 8)
Simply upload your video submissions to your personal YouTube
page, and send the link to the following email address to have
them broadcast on the GDTV network! (iTunes, YouTube, Livestream
etc):
[glow=red,2,300]gds.gdtv@gmail.com[/glow]
Your videos can be about absolutely anything and don’t have to
be gaming based (although we would love to receive some gaming
related videos as well!).
For example, as well as the Vodcast, Retrocast, FIFAcast and
CODcast, we also have had in the past submissions including
Painyboy’s video blog of his music tastes and documenting his
quest to learn the Keyboards.
Another example is that we’d love to hear from anyone who can
talk about their hobby and perhaps their experiences of being a
father-what you come up against, what you’ve learned etc…
Also-have you always wanted to make a gaming tricks and tips
video? A walkthrough? Reviews? Favourite Hardware/Peripherals?
Submit anything you like and we'll concider it! :)
As with sites such as Machinima, etc, some T’s and C’s will
apply:
(1) We reserve the right to insert a short (around 30 seconds)
advert for Gamerdads or one of its associates at the beginning
of any video broadcast on GDTV and the GamerdadsUK youtube feed.
(2) The total running time for your videos/ vlogs/ gameclips etc
can be as long as you want; however, please bear in mind that
the maximum length for YouTube videos is 10-15 minutes,
therefore for reasons stated above, please try to split your new
videos into sections with a maximum length of 10-13 minutes if
possible. This will help speed up the upload process. If your
video is longer, then don’t worry too much-one of our producers
will split it up for you, but bear in mind this will delay the
upload onto the Gamerdads YouTube feed (it will go up on GDTV
straight away as there is no time limit on that feed)…
(3) We will fully credit you with your work with links to your
YouTube page or blog in the video description-this will
hopefully help you get more subscribers-please state in your
email submission what you want putting in the description, along
with a web link if possible.
(4) Videos may be uploaded to some or all of our Gamerdads
feeds, including GDTV, Livestream, YouTube and iTunes.
For anyone who has never made a video before and doesn’t know
where to start, or for those of you who want to exchange tips,
there are a multitude of FREE software downloads you can use-if
you would like to have a go, please either email the address
above or contact moobit via the usual means and he will happily
send you all the links and advice you need!
