Dead Space 2

Gentlemen
Is anyone buying the highly anticipated Dead Space 2 on the 28th
January?
If so, would anyone be willing to try out the multiplayer with
me, with an idea of starting a Gamernight?

With Dead Space 2 on the shelves already, the videos have
started to appear on YouTube.
I found this one this morning, it is not really a spoiler, but
if you complete the game on Hardcore mode you do get another
weapon called the 'Hand Cannon'
How long will it take you to start chuckling?

Not a chance I'm buying this till it drops to damn near a
tenner. I loved the first one, I bought it new in 2008 and have
13 impossible playthroughs logged. I bought the armours and the
weapons skins both on 360 and PS3. To date it's the only game I
have a platinum trophy for. So you can imagine how excited the
thought of DS2 made me. Then the announcements started. First
the addition of an MP. It's not required, for this type of game
it never is. RE5 didn't need it either. An online co-op or
survival mode would have been far better suited to the genre,
but ok, whatever. From a tactical standpoint EA needed a reason
to include one of their ever present online passes and an MP
works better for later DLC. Map packs, unlock shortcuts,
whatever. So I'm still on board at this point.
Then came the announcement this week of DLC. Before release. 2/3
extra SP chapters. Has a name and screenshots and everything.
There is content being omitted from the disc so that EA can sell
it at a later date separately. "Nothing new there" you're
probably saying, and sadly that is the truth but in conjunction
with their war in the pre-owned market it looks like EA has
decided to start screwing gamers both coming and going.
So now I have to wait. Probably about six months. By which time,
hopefully, Dead Space 2 will have followed suit along with BFBC2
and MoH and have hit the £15-18 Mark. Also XBL may have had
chance to discount the DLC.
Cheers for that EA, of the 3 games released this year that I was
looking forward to, I'm probably going to have to wait the
longest for the first one out =o(

How is everyone getting on with DS2?? Nearly at the end and
thought it was a great game!
Got very immersed in it and not ashamed to say that at points i
jumped and got very anxious lol

Finished it the other night. But I will not spoil it for you.
But to say the least enjoyable with a chuckle at the end!
Must get some Multiplayer in sometime!
