       I got 2 of the normal xbox heads sets and a set of Sharkoon
       xtatic 5.1 cans with a mic and all wire to the controller and
       couldn`t get any to work last night I switched on the xbox
       earlier to try trouble shoot them and the 2 normal ones work
       fine (didn`t try the Sharkoon set) first time no problem.
       Only thing I can think of is last night the mic wasn`t plugged
       in when I switched on and tonight it was so wondering if it`s
       that? am I doing something wrong or have a wrong setting? are
       these things very tempramental? do I need to look at some
       settings?
       I`d be greatful for any advice guys.

       Cheers for trying Bluggs but I`ve seen troubleshooting guides
       because this was happening when I first got the slim. I checked
       then and everything seemed to be set up fine and after speaking
       problem free for ages thought it was all sorted and then it goes
       and happens again on Monday.  Then as I said, I go to see if I
       can fix it last night and the things working of it`s own accord
       without me doing anything ???
       If it`s going to start becoming more frequent and I can`t get to
       the bottom of it I might have a look at one of the in ear
       wirless headsets.
