Football Manager 2011

Got this as a Crimbo present think the wife wants rid of me lol.
Not played FM in a few years so thought it'd be good to get a
thread going for any advice on superstar signings bargain
players good tactics etc.
So get all your advice experience of the game down here please.

I have FM11 too and its a good game. I wouldnt be able to help
you with what players to buy as im not that good at it lol.
I think if there is a few of us that have it, we should start a
online game. I have done these in the past and they work well
with no more than 4 people as there is always one who cant make
it and the night is off.
Anyone think this is a good idea then lets get this going. Its
only for fun and its a game that people can play even when the
kids are awake.

new one.

What sort of players are you looking for Coops?
If your Rangers a cracking signing to make would be Leigh
Griffifths from Dundee.

The online play has been in it for quite a few years no. You may
of seen that it has a option for network play. All you have to
do is enter the hosts IP address or set one up and give the
people u want in you IP address. If people who cant connect due
to router issues, there is a program called Hamachi which acts
like a LAN (local area network) and means that there isnt any
problems connecting.
Like I said before, if anyone is interested in the new year to
give it a blast then just let me know as its a right laugh
playing with a few people, especially when you are all trying to
sign the same player lol

LOLNooks you know me to well of course i'll be going Rangers.
Not got the game yet just ordered it on boxing day.
Cheers as well Marc i'll have a look at the online option when
it comes read on another forum a guy called Sanogo i think is
meant to be a goal machine as well.

Aye i've just signed Sanogo on my Spurs game, he doesn't come
cheap though and you'll have no transfer budget at rangers so
you'd only be able to loan them and therfore not have a chance
to nurture them.
Ill have a look at some decent free transfers for you though
