Winter Breaks?

With so many games getting called off again is it time to bring
back the winter break?
To many folk are being left out of pocket with sorting travel
plans to and from games and then find the game is off due to
snow , ice , burst pipes and road conditions. It's all well and
good having undersoil heating but sitting in the ground for 90
mins freezing doesnt sound to exciting to me these days.

Toataly agree mate. It didn`t seem to be as bad when you could
stand at the game but sitting there freezing ain`t no fun.

As a spectator at the game I can see why a break would be good.
But for those watching TV it makes no sense at all. In fact it
would spoil my Christmas holiday.
Either way, if you look at it the break wouldn't have started
yet, so all games called off this weekend, still would have been
called off.
Our weather is too unpredictable to say a 2 week break would
help in any way.

In principle its a good idea but when would you have it?
Winter can hit in Britain especially Scotland anytime in a 4
month window.
Imagine if we had a break arranged for January this year we'd
never get the league finished.
