GamerDads Fifa Rules *UPDATED*

The following rules apply to both Playstation and Xbox Leagues.
This league will be run by Nooks and Super Nutsy . If you have
any questions or concerns regarding this league/rules then
please PM us via the site as we will NOT ACCEPT MESSAGES VIA THE
PS3 OR XBOX 360 as you will get a quicker response via the site
.
Please bare in mind although these rules are in place to protect
the integrity of the league, we are a community of mature gamers
that should be able to play our games in a timely and friendly
manner.
The choice of team you can use will be determined by what league
you are put into . Below is the star rating for the team in your
given league
Division 1 - No higher than 4*
Division 2 - No higher than 4*
CREATED BE A PRO PLAYERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY IN YOUR TEAM
THE PLAYERS STATS WITHIN YOUR CHOSEN TEAM CANT NOT BE CHANGED AT
ALL
If any of these are brought to our attention then it will be
dealt with and action taken .
The weekly fixtures will be posted on the web site in the FIFA
LEAGUES THREAD it is up to you to check this to find out who you
will be playing in that week . The HOME TEAM will host the match
using the default match settings which are :
* Ranked - (You may need to both go into a lobby and connect
together that way.)
* 6 mins each way
* Random weather
* Normal game speed
If you are the person playing at home, it is your responsibility
to contact your opponent to arrange a day and time to play.
Failure to follow these options may result in the game to be
replayed unless the game finished with an away win.
Fixtures should be played by Saturday evening of that week. New
fixtures go up every Sunday. Maybe earlier if all games are
played on time .
There will be up to 10 other members in your league and YOU WILL
BE REQUIRED TO ADD ALL IN YOUR LEAGUE TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST.
Results should be posted in the GDs Score Center thread NOT OVER
PSN or XBOX LIVE a match report can be done but not needed . If
only 1 person posts the result we will use that as the score.
Please be aware by signing up to the GDs Leagues you are
accepting you are able to play at least 2 games a week . If
games are getting close to the cut off period and not played
both Nooks or Super Nutsy will be watching the league threads
and a decision will be made on the result for that game
Games can be played at any time in the week so communication is
vital. We recommend you contact your opponents for the week as
soon in the week as possible however please bare in mind
circumstances can change and may need to be rearranged . If this
is the case then please use the league thread and also send a
message via the console .
No Response Issues
If you have not recieved a response from your opponent by
Thursday evening then please use the League threads to state
this also drop a PM to Nooks or Super Nutsy and we will do our
best to help you get the game played.
If no contact is still made a 3-0 win will be awarded to you. If
we cannot get a response from either party the result will be a
0-0 draw.
We have no problem putting games back for a couple of days/weeks
(holidays, YLOD etc) but we need to be informed of this.
Disconnection/Lag Issues
By signing up to the GDs leagues you agree to make your
connection as open and stable as possible (PM GD for more info
on this). Some connections are obviously better than others
hence the need for only the home team being host.
When the next fixture is played the other team will be host
(home). If an inappropriate amount of lag is experienced hosts
may be swapped as long as both parties agree.
If a game disconnects/has lag during the match you have the
following options:
* Re-play the game (possibly with a different host) however if
the game disconnects in the second half I would suggest that the
score at time of disconnection is used as the final score.
* If a disconnection issue cannot be resolved a 0-0 draw will be
awarded however this will be monitored and anyone found to be
abusing this rule will be banned from the league.
* If you can not connect to each other via the game invite
option then and only then we will allow the use of the Be A Pro
Mode and both players must select ANY when starting the game .
I would encourage members to use common sense when issues arise
as these rules do not cater for instances such as the importance
of a particular game. We are all supposed to be mature gamers
and these leagues are for fun.
These leagues are run for free by people working for free so
lets keep it friendly and play for fun.
If ANY problems arise during or after a game I.E Abusive
language either in-game or via a message , cheating etc We need
to be contacted A.S.A.P with all details so we can look into it
. We will not accept any form of this and if it is found to be
true action will be taken . If we find that any issues are made
up to try and affect a result for improper gain then action will
also be taken .
The GamerDad Cup
The same rules apply here but the host team must put on extra
time and penalties. You must also use the same team as you use
in the leagues.
Things to remember:
* You MUST be able to communicate with your fellow members
* These leagues are for fun and nothing else
* You must have enough room on your friends list to add 9 people
* You must be able to play your games in a timely manner
*You must be able to use common sense where the rules fail
If you feel you cannot commit to these rules then please pm one
of us prior to the league starting and we will remove you from
the league.
You will notice we now have a dedicated forum for Fifa leagues.
Please post in the relavent sections. Use the division specific
thread for discussion around the leagues only. Scores should be
posted in the score center.
