Updated Secondary Error Code repair solutions
Please post any and all success as well as failures in relation
to your attempts to repair any specific error codes. This list
will then be used later down the road to develop a consolidated
/ master Secondary Error Code listing based on user's actual
experiences.
When adding new additions / codes please 'edit' and add them to
your original posting in order to keep it as consolidated as
possible for ease of reference until the point when we decide to
create a new / updated Master Secondary Error Code list...Thx,

E-64: Replace 12 Volte Power Adapter Cable...may also be SATA
cable. I have had this work on several / recent DVD repairs.
E-76: Have not experienced myself, but others seem to be in
agreement that the error is typcially 'unrepairable' and is
related to multiple issues involving a dead or modified ICS
ethernet controller chip, and or damaged motherboard traces or
faulty / bad LED solder modifications.
E-79: I got this error code to show up once when messing around
with the screw tension on the Gpu xclamp replacement....so
potentially Gpu.
E-13: Check the 12 Volt Power Adapter Cable...it may be plugged
in backwards (2 open pin holes facing to the right vs. the left
side).
E-06: Majority of the time, it's a thermal paste issue or else
the Gpu heatsink is not sitting flush / level with the Chip die
surface on the EDRAM.
E-07: Majority of the time, it's a thermal paste issue or else
the Gpu heatsink is not sitting flush / level with the Chip die
surface on the EDRAM.
E-73 1021: Reflow Gpu 1st...then Southbridge if no change.
However, if the console 'boots' to the dashboard and then
switches to the E-73 screen, then all you need to do is install
a more current update using a USB thumbdrive, or by starting the
console with a 'newer' game in the drive. If neither work, it
could be a dead Gpu with delamination on the bottomside of the
chip that is not noticeable unless you perform a chip lift for
reballing.
0110: Reflow of Gpu only seems to fix 10% of consoles with this
code...A Reball will more than likely be required. Some have had
limited success in reflowing the 2 RAM chips next to the Gpu if
Gpu alone does not fix.
0102: Reflow Gpu. Some have had limited success in reflowing the
2 RAM chips next to Gpu if Gpu alone does not fix.
0020: Reflowing Gpu works majority of the time.
0022: Reflow of Gpu only seems to fix 10% of consoles with this
code...A Reball will more than likely be required.
0021: Some have fixed by reflowing Gpu. Can be a short between
the Gpu heatsink and board components if overtightening and or
have wrong number of washers allowing the gpu heatsink to 'flex'
and be tighted down around the chip itself. This code can also
be replicated by shorting / bridging of the USB pins.
0030: Reflow Gpu...if no change then reflow the 2 RAM chips that
sit underneath the Gpu heatsink. (got this error code just after
a 2RROD condition with a 0013)
00010001: Cracked EDRAM or Gpu chip die itself - remove and
replace with a new Gpu chip & Reball to fix.
