Greetings,
My name is Niamh (Pronounced Nee- ev).
1. What do you expect to do in/add to the study group?
I want to talk about witchcraft, share my experiences and what I
know, and learn from other people.
2. What do you expect of the group?
To generally be a private area, where witchcraft is discussed.
And to have a yen to learn, as well.
3. What do you expect of others in the group?
To be tolerant and openminded
4. What kind of activities and assignments do you expect?
I'm not sure about this, I would say as long as they are fun,
and I can apply them to my living situation (right now) we are
good. I have to be *very* in the dark, as I live with my mother
in law.
5. Do you expect the group to have a leader or to be completely
democratic?
Both! Or must I really chose...
6. What are your strengths when it comes to working with a
group?
No idea, never worked with a group before, as far as witchcraft
goes. Wicca, on the other hand is different, but I don't think
that it counts as an answer to your question.
7. What are your weaknesses when it comes to working with a
group?
The only thing that comes to mind is, inexperience. As stated
before, I have never worked with a witchcraft group before.
8. What are your strengths when it comes to witchcraft?
Even after all these years, I am still learning, and can't
really pinpoint any one strength.
9. What are your weaknesses when it comes to witchcraft?
I would say that my temper can get the best of me. I have a
short fuse, very short. But I am working on this.
10. How much time would you want to spend and expect others to
spend to the group?
People are free to come and go as they choose, I don't have
expectations from any member here. Of course I would prefer the
board to remain active, but I understand people have their own
lives. During the summer I could spend three or four hours a day
here; during the school year, maybe 3 or 4 hours a week, or
less. <------ Because I work, at my local university.
11. We have a personal diary subforum for every member. How and
for what purpose would you use it?
Notes on topics, and personal experiences (regarding topics
discussed)
12. What do you expect to learn from others' personal diaries?
I like reading about people's experiences. Sometimes what one
witch does can make me have an "ah ha!" moment.
13. How do you expect to be able to contact other members?
Through this website or email.
14. Are you a pagan?
Yes, I am.
15. Do you work with any deities?
Yes, I do
16. Do you celebrate any festivals?
Festivals or holidays? Yes on holidays, only 4 out of 8 though.
17. Do you do hexes/curses?
I do
18. How do you feel about hexes/curses?
Magick is magick, there is no black or white. However, I will
not hesitate to use them, if I need to.
19. What is your name? Please tell us all you'd like to share.
real name, online names for witchcraft communities and if you
use a special name in your pagan/witchcraft path.
I go by Niamhmorganaastra on the traditionalwitch.net forum
20. What is your sex/gender and what pronouns would you like us
to use?
I am female, and I use female pronouns.
21. What is your age?
I am 29 years old
22. Can we contact you through e-mail and skype?
Email, yes. I do not have Skype, but may in the future.
23. How long have you been practicing witchcraft?
Awhile. To be more specific, I practiced Wicca from the age of
19 to 22, I started Witchcraft at around 22 and have been
practicing off and on since then. Its only been since last year
or so, that I have taken a very active roll (as much as I can,
anyway.)
24. Could you tell us some things about your path as a witch?
For example you started as a Catholic, then became an initiated
Gardnerian and later let go of any religious ideas to just
practice witchcraft.
I was raised Christian, quit the church when I was 16, haven't
looked back since. Actively started practicing Wicca at 19,
stopped at 22; because it wasn't my thing. Been practicing
Witchcraft ever since then, but more actively over the past
year.
25. Where are you from? Please be as specific as possible.
Country/state/province/city
I live in the USA, in the state of Arizona.
26. How did you find us?
SerpentWitch mentioned this group on a website we both frequent
:)
27. Is there anything else important for us to know?
I am far more interested in discussions on practical application
and theory, instead of philosophical or ethical topics.
28. Could you provide us with a picture or a link to a facebook
account?
Picture, yes. Facebook. What's that?

That is awesome! I apologize for my absence. It makes me wonder
if we have other things, in common.
