       1. What do you expect to do in/add to the study group?
I expect to gain new knowledge and insight to others in the
groups beliefs and how they go about their craft. An insight of
my own personal beliefs and show that it isn't a dark or
       negative belief.
       2. What do you expect of the group?
A place to connect with individuals with similar interests and
       to grow spiritually.
       3. What do you expect of others in the group?
To be open minded and accepting of all others even if thoughts
       and ideas clash.
       4. What kind of activities and assignments do you expect?
Maybe some group work or workshops of different crafts.
       5. Do you expect the group to have a leader or to be completely
       democratic?
I feel like there should be an admin just to keep everyone in
check, but overall a democratic group.
       6. What are your strengths when it comes to working with a
       group?
My willing-ness to be open to everyone's ideas.
       7. What are your weaknesses when it comes to working with a
       group?
I've always been a solo when it comes to most things in life,
and this is no different. So being open to working with others
is going to be a weakness to overcome.
       8. What are your strengths when it comes to witchcraft?
When I want a spell to work and be successful, it usually is.
Clairvoyance is something I've had in the past. I'm not strong
with it, but it has been helpful to me through life and I
       consider it a strength
       9. What are your weaknesses when it comes to witchcraft?
I don't practice or "dabble" enough and so I'm not as good with
it as I wish to be.
       10. How much time would you want to spend and expect others to
       spend to the group?
A couple hours a week. We all have lives and things happen that
keep us busy from other aspects so I understand having off
       weeks.
       11. We have a personal diary subforum for every member. How and
for what purpose would you use it?
To store spells and other witchy tidbits. I have a lot of saved
posts on my Tumblr and I'm sure this would clean up what I want
to keep and learn/use in the future.
       12. What do you expect to learn from others' personal diaries?
Spells, rituals, outcomes/shortcomings, all aspects that involve
       witchcraft.
       13. How do you expect to be able to contact other members?
At first, through this forum. Than as friendships grow through
e-mail, other social media outlets, than eventually through
       phone or text.
       14. Are you a pagan?
I'm a Spiritual Satanist which makes me polytheistic, so yes I
would identify myself as a pagan.

Opps, I guess I didn't copy all of the questions. Sorry about
that! Here are the rest of my answers:
       15. Do you work with any deities?
Yes, Satan. I also work with Abraxas and Astaroth.
       16. Do you celebrate any festivals?
I try to celebrate most of them. Mainly Yule/x-mas.
       17. Do you do hexes/curses?
When I feel that they are needed.
       18. How do you feel about hexes/curses?
I don't see it as a necessary thing to just hex and curse any
and everyone because I can. I save it for when I need to handle
a situation without getting my hands dirty, so to speak. I
usually just do bindings though before I resort to hexes/curses.
       19. What is your name? Please tell us all you'd like to share.
real name, online names for witchcraft communities and if you
use a special name in your pagan/witchcraft path.
My name is Mary. I don't have any other names I go by.
       20. What is your sex/gender and what pronouns would you like us
       to use?
I'm female, I'm not particular on pronouns, probably should just
stick with she/her but it's whatever.
       21. What is your age?
       23
       22. Can we contact you through e-mail and skype?
Sure, but please ask for those as I do not like to give them out
       to just anyone/
       23. How long have you been practicing witchcraft?
I've been a Satanist for about 10 years and practicing
witchcraft on and off for at least 12.
       24. Could you tell us some things about your path as a witch?
For example you started as a Catholic, then became an initiated
Gardnerian and later let go of any religious ideas to just
       practice witchcraft.
I was brought up Catholic, was sent to a Catholic school and
taught the faith. When I hit age 12/13 I started to question my
belief and lose faith in God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit. I convinced
my mum to buy me a couple of Wiccan books and started getting
into witchcraft. I still wasn't spiritually satisfied, and my
father had been in the same boat. He found the Joy of Satan
website and shared it with me. I dedicated when I was about
14/15 and within the last couple of years broken away from JoS
because the hatred and intolerance of other pagan sects did not
sit well with me. I'm still a Satanist because Satan has always
been a kind deity to me and very helpful on my spiritual
journey, but in the past year I have decided to grow in
witchcraft as I feel it will allow me to continue to flourish in
my growth without making me feel like I'm going against
       anything.
       25. Where are you from? Please be as specific as possible.
       Country/state/province/city
The U.S. I'm in the process of moving states at the moment. So,
right now I live in Norman, Oklahoma, but am moving to Cape
       Coral, Fl.
       26. How did you find us?
My friend and mutual Tumblr follower reblogged a post about this
and so I shared it as well.
       27. Is there anything else important for us to know?
I'm not evil. Satanism is not an evil belief. I've never
sacrificed anything and I never will. And will be more than
happy to try and discuss my beliefs with anyone if they are
interested. But, I do tend to keep my beliefs mostly quiet in
the real world for personal safety.
       28. Could you provide us with a picture or a link to a facebook
       account?
I will eventually provide a Facebook account, but not at the
moment. But here is what I look like:

       Hi Mary!
I'm Riley. I'd be very interested to hear more about the JoS, as
I am really blind in that area.

Well, I no longer affiliate myself with that group. For people
who aren't knowledgeable about Spiritual Satanism and interested
in it, they are usually a good starting point because they give
so much material to read and learn from. They have many
meditations, spells, and rituals. However, they are also
somewhat radical in their beliefs. And I do not wish to speak
badly of them, but I have known some that are very hateful
towards other religious groups. While I personally don't agree
with the 3 big religions, they come off as very hateful towards
them. Sometimes to the point that those who affiliate with the
group refuse to have contact with many people that are not also
satanists/share their same view, or have very little to do with
others. I broke away from them because of that and have since
developed my own personal relationship with Satan.
