General
1. What is your name? You can call me Moon, or Star or
MoonandStar for now.
2. What is your age? 24
3. Where are you from? The state of New York, USA
4. What is your gender and what pronouns do you prefer?
Femalish, She/Her are preferred They/Them is also acceptable.

Belief and witchcraft
1. Are you pagan? Looking into quiet a few pagan religions right
now, trying to find out whats best for me.
2. Do you work with any deities? Through readings on tumblr I've
discovered that something/someone has been sending me energy.
Though answers to whom it is have been clouded, I asked my
pendulum if I was ready to know them and it said no.
3. Do you celebrate any festivals? Not religious festivals, no
4. Do you do hexes/curses? Only when they really really need
karma to catch up to them.
5. How do you feel about hexes/curses? Desperate times...
6. How long have you been practicing witchcraft? I started when
I was 12ish but stopped practicing due to moving around and new
schools. I've started up again recently to deal with anxiety and
to ground myself.
7. Could you tell us some things about your path as a witch? I
grew up in CT in a place that was particularly strong in ghosty
energies. I've seen ghosts, they have interacted with me and my
family. My mother tells me that our family has always been very
spiritually powerful.
8. What is your view on what witchcraft is? It's energy, and the
use and manipulation of energy. It's real.
9. What are your strengths when it comes to witchcraft? I'm
still so new I don't think I have any strengths yet.
10. What are your weaknesses when it comes to witchcraft? Same
as above.
11. What do you consider to be your greatest success in your
Path so far? Anti-anxiety and calming spells.
12. Have you ever encountered a difficult or uncomfortable
situation with magic? How did you deal with it? No...
13. Why did you start studying witchcraft? It's always been my
interest. I've always loved the magical characters in books,
movies and video games. When I was a kid I was told magic wasn't
real REALLY young, but it still fascinated me, and I was drawn
to it when I became more aware that the statement "magic isn't
real" isn't really accurate.
14. What do you think your biggest obstacle has been so far? I
feel very closed off to energy right now. I grew up around
nature and with more animals than people, now I live close to
the city and there's so much going on all so fast. All the
concrete around makes it hard to feel apart of more natural.
15. In your Path, do you think you spend more time studying or
practicing? Practicing.
16. Are you especially knowledgeable in an aspect of witchcraft?
Would you be willing to teach others about it? I am not really
especially knowledgeable in any area, but I will be glad to
share what I know with others.
17. What is your favorite thing about witchcraft? Being
empowered.
18. What does witchcraft mean to you? Magick?
19. Where do you hope your Path will take you? Spiritual
enlightenment. Or just more spirituality.
20 What tradition do you follow, if any? At the moment I'm very
much an go with the flow, do what feels right kind of witch.
Study group related
1. What do you expect to do add to the study group as a person
and witch? I have lived in several different states and have
lived in England. I know I have a different view of the world
than most people thanks to the way I was raised and the people I
have met along the way. I'm big on arts in general and can
figure out how to craft something with my hands fairly easily. I
am also a graphic designer, so info graphs I guess?
2. What do you expect the group to add to your life or path in
the craft? focus on my craft hopefully. Support and guidance
when I feel unsure.
3. What do you expect of others in the group? Just a courteous
welcome. You don't have to like me, but I would like to keep
every thing civil.
4. What kind of activities and assignments do you expect to do
here? Reading. Maybe figuring out crafts.
5. Do you expect the group to have a leader or to be completely
democratic? Probably would be easier to keep things civil and on
track with a leader.
6. What are your strengths when it comes to working with a
group? This question just makes me think back to high school
when you'd get put in a group with people and no one would do
the work. I would carry the team, and I've gotten some good
study related habits out of it.
7. What are your weaknesses when it comes to working with a
group? Strongly opinionated, though I try to stay away from hot
topics and debates. But if someone is being a jerk I will point
it out.
8. How much time would you want to spend and expect others to
spend to the group? At least a little time each day at least
thinking about the group.
9. We have a personal diary subforum for every member. How and
for what purpose would you use it? Transcribe more clearly and
cleanly whats in my notebook. My handwriting is so awful. I
would definitely use it to work through tarot readings as I'm
still new to that.
10. How do you expect to be able to contact other members? On
here. Maybe on skype.

all the spam and newsletters.

crystals and rocks.
