Myranda puts back the communication device in her sack and
turns to Alina Orgon and Thiror Askranlach "You heard Lord Ator,
I want you and Lieutenant Thiror to organise a hunting party
and capture alive six Remelaxian Fire Ants including a Queen as
soon as possible. You may use the ship to transfer them here."
Alina and Thiror: "Yes Captain!"
Thiror immediately opened up a hologram of the planet through
his mobile holographic device and gave the order "Locate
lifeforms: Taraxynsceres Paeren Remelaxen". After the results
came up both started making weather calculations and wore their
Arsazesyn heat-armours, asking permission from Kilysa and Rokarr
to leave the ship.
Before the two Princesses could respond the Formic Queen made
her presence known. All of Myranda's crew kneeled and bowed
their heads, as is customary when a sovereign lord is present
amongst Ghashyr warriors.
Myranda to Queen Zagara: "Unburnt One, your greatness' presence
illuminates us all ..I am the captain of 'Asalya', Myranda
Lorinvax, paladin of House Martael and the Frontiers, I speak on
behalf of my crew and lord and I welcome your royal excellency
in planet Remelax. May your reign last an eternity."
The rest of the crew remains kneeled while Myranda turns to the
Krith Queens "Your presence means a lot and honours my species
and lord that you decided to visit our worlds as well, Queen
Tarakith, Queen Sivtress, Queen Rynza, Queen XerKhon, Queen
Tegedar and Queen Valgorr. My crewmembers are lieutenant Thiror
Askranlach (Thiror gets up, salutes the queens and bows his head
in respect) private Alina Orgon (does the same as Thiror) and
chief engineer Rosdax Amys who currently recovers from a
biological mulfunction and is not present.
...However, and I hope I'm not offending you, I could not help
but notice your appearance is vastly different from Princess
Kilysa and Rokarr and you also speak with a physical voice
...you almost seem like Ghashyr!"

(ooc: forgive me I just realized the way I wrote my last post
did not explain this very well, but XerKhon, Tegedar, & Valgorr
are Krith males, aka Warlords, but ill just be more specific in
the future)
Zagara gave a slight bow in respect.
Zagara: "Unburnt One, im not quite familiar with this term, it
is my pleasure to meet you Myranda Lorinvax, & your crew Thiror
Askranlach, Alina Orgon, & I suppose ill meet Rosdax Amys later
after he has awaken."
The Krith Queens & Warlords look at each other a moment & then
their Grandmother & Aunts.
Queen Tarakith: "No you do not offend us, Yes indeed we are
different, our Grandmother introduced DNA from our closets
allies species who is an humanoid race transforming us into a
hybrid of Formics & Chrymerions giving us the ability to speak
Psionically & Physically, as well as others."
Warlord XerKhon: "Ghashyr, gauging the difference of Chrymerions
& Ghashyr it seems possible that they are related, in fact they
could be one of the races that spawned from the Chrymerions
ancestors."
Warlord Valgorr: " I think your right brother lets take a closer
look"
Valgorr raised his left hand & Myranda & her crew start
levitating in the air, Zagara raised her first right hand
causing Myranda & her crew to gently land back on the floor.
Zagara: "VALGORR, you know the rules about using your powers on
others, I will be dampening your telekinetic's for a time to
teach you manners, please forgive my Grand children, their
development is new territory for our race, they are nearly at
the end of their first puberty cycle, I realize at 2 meters in
height they may seem fully grown but they have at least another
meter & a second puberty cycle before they are fully grown, It
seems my arrival interrupted something so please dont allow me
to keep you from your operations."

(OOC: Don't worry we'll ignore it and presume something went
wrong in translation, ie; Formicss'word for a monarch could be
only female which would make sense, considering your species
nature)
As Myranda was about to respond to Queen Zagara and the Krith,
she and her crew lifted in air causing them much surprise. As
she landed she fixed her tunic and turned to Zagara and the rest
of the formic delegation "Your greatness, Princesses, Krith
Warlords and Queens: I'd prefer if we were left in the gentle
care of Remelax's gravity, thank you, now were was I.. ...ah
certainly! Unburnt One is how we Ghashyr call our Emperor, the
one that sat in the fire-tongued throne and was not burned from
the flames of Azrax, it short of means 'divine' which I'm sure
is an appropriate style for your greatness, considering your
long reign that your noble daughters have mentioned. Queen
Tarakith, this is an incredible scientific feat you speak of,
Princess Kilysa mentioned this before, but I had to witness this
with my own eyes to understand how marvelous this is"
Myranda turns to XerKhon "I don't know of this Chrymerions
species you speak of and how they could be related to us; all
scientific evidence proves that we naturally evolved from
primate mammals in our homeland of Shyr ...I would not rule
out a coincidence, considering the vastness of the world we all
live in, but it is an intriguing theory."
Myranda turns to her crew "You listened to her greatness, return
to your task"
Thiror: "Right Away Captain! We'll return once we've found the
requested six Fire Ants"
Alyna: "Yes of course! Permission to speak?"
Myranda: *sigh* "Go on private.."
Alyna: "I loved the levitation! We had a machine back in Doth
that-"
Myranda: "Enough, learn to set your priorities straight private,
now go"
Alyna: "Yes Captain.." :C

Zagara looks at Valgorr a moment who looks embarrassed
Zagara: "Valgorr, apologize..."
Valgorr: "Forgive me Myranda & crew, it was not my place to
invade your space like that."
Zagara: "Ah I see, no need to give an old one as me such a title
I am not divine I assure you, but thank you for the gesture, if
I may ask what is this Azrax?"
Tarakith: "We find your species fascinating as well, though
similar you posses unique features of any species we've
encountered."
XerKhon: "Interesting, we would like to learn more of your
species in time of course."
Valgorr looked at Alyna with a almost excited expression
realizing she enjoyed his actions.

As Myranda's crew went about there mission they could see a
Energy Harvester in the distance absorbing a firestorm through
the spikes on its back but it immediately started acting a bit
wild & feral letting out huge deep growls but it only lasted a
few moments, Kilysa was actively calming them down psionically,
so far only 5% of the radiation as been relieved.
The Formics spoke secretly to each other deciding that as soon
as Myranda's Crew returns Zagara & her Daughters will leave to
meet Empress Myrsa & the grandchildren will stay on Remelax &
oversee the Energy Harvesters.

Myranda felt somewhat awkward that a foreign lord apologised to
her, a mere paladin-captain. She bowed her head gently while
looking towards Valgorr "Your excellency I didn't mean to insult
you, it's just that most Ghashyr feel rather uncomfortable when
they don't have control of their bodies, most..."
Myranda then turned immediately to Zagara "Unburnt One, being
divine for us Ghashyr means first and foremost being the most
wise, the most pure and of the highest stature, not necessarily
a supernatural being. Ah! Azrax, Emperor Azrax Taggaren the
Saint, he was the Emperor that constructed the Fire-Tongued
Throne and performed the first Enflamed Enthronement by setting
the Eternal Fire on the throne made of Arsazezyn and sat on it
while it was covered in flames; he remained unburnt and was
crowned Talmyr, god-king, Emperor of the Ghashyr. His fire still
burns the Fire-Tongued Throne and all Emperors have to pass the
aforementioned ritual to be considered rightful and pure."
Myranda to Tarakith & XerKhon: "I guess this is natural,
considering every planet in the universe is different ...Even
we colonials, consider Shyr and Shyrites, to be different in
comparisson to us." the captain then noded condescendingly to
XerKhon "I'll make sure of it, Lord XerKhon!"
Before the crew got out Alyna turned her head for a moment and
smiled at Valgorr.

Thiror and Alyna gazed the Energy Harvester as it was absorbing
the radiation, suddenly the firestorm started vanishing as it
usually did after a short amount of time*.
Thiror: "Ok private enough sightseeing, let's get to work! Where
are the Fire Ants located?"
Alyna: "North-East continent, shall we take our ship?"
Thiror: "No, I think our HydTra(hydropneymatic transporter) will
be able to carry Six Fire Ants, they weight around 50 kg
each..."
The two crew members hastily get on the old vehicle parked next
to the Formic spaceship, and head off towards the location of
the Ants.
*(It's a puzzle, you have to solve the puzzle in order to clean
Remelax from radiation. I'll give you a hint: the firestorms
have a source and if observed from space they move as if they
were orbited by Remelax.)

(A puzzle aye, sweet this should be fun, lets see if how I can
figure this out..)
Valgorr: "I shall keep such in mind"
Zagara: "ah interesting, so there are those among your species
who are immune to fire."
XerKhon gave Myranda a sort of odd look
Valgorr looked at Alyna with a curiosity as she left
Sivtress, Rynza, & Tegedar noticed the brief exchange between
Valgorr & Alyna

As the Energy Harvesters were absorbing the fire storms, Kilysa
noticed that the radiation wasnt showing signs of decreasing.
Using Psionic Navigation she viewed Remelax mentally in real
time analyzing the planet. Noticing a peculiar pattern in the
fire storms starting point in relation to the planets orbit she
had the Energy Harvesters line up several km apart powering up
to fire a succession of EMP waves & Energy Blasts at the
suspected origin of the fire storms. Also she had a Drone
fighter fleet orbit the planet & collected data on any activity
in Remelax's atmosphere & anything in the planets orbit. (Minus
the other Formic ships :-P)
the firestorms have a source and if observed from space they
move as if they were orbited by Remelax.)

Myranda surprised by the Queen's conclusion tries to explain:
"What? No, Unburnt One, all Ghashyr are hurt by fire! The
explanation is far simpler; the Enflamed Enthronement is
performed while the emperor-to-be wears the imperial arsazezyn
armour, which protects parts of him, or her, from burning, in
the meanwhile it is customary to drink a secret potion that
makes ones' skin more moisty than usual while it raises body
temperature. Nevertheless there have been Emperors that had to
try more than once in order to pass the ritual, since moving
even in the slightest while one sits on the throne is quite
painful and it demands great will and self-containment to remain
perfectly still while clad in heavy Arsaz armour. ...It short
of symbolises the calmness, willpower and personal sacrifices an
Emperor would make for the good of the empire. I'm sorry if I'm
being too curious your greatness, but do you Formics have
rituals as well?"

(Kilysa's actions reveal that the firestorms of Remelax all move
parallel to each other and change course only when a new
firestorm errupts, surely this is not natural.
Furthermore it seems that firestorms are affected by the
presence of electrical signals/pulses that come from living
beings and especially that of the Ghashyr; You notice heavier
firestorm activity close to your landing point. When a firestorm
vanishes, another one immediately takes its place in some random
location. You can now follow firestorms for a while and pay
closer attention to them, if you find how you can attract them..
hint for later: "A beginning is a very delicate time".)
(Non-usable info: I'll RP in behalf of the Firestorms. I'll
describe what effect each action of yours has on them, ie; the
harvesters did absorb the radiation, but upon the firestorm's
vanishing another took its place.)

Zagara: "ah yes I see, that is quite an intense ritual, it seems
Ghashyr to great care in determining whose worthy of the throne,
oh no your curiosity is most welcome it shows a desire for
knowledge, yes Formics have 5 traditions or rituals if you will.
The first is a celebration of sorts that starts after a Queen or
Male Formic is emerges from their 2nd cocoon fully matured
although the process for Queens is more extensive. The second
involves Queens choosing their mate. The 3rd originates from an
idea the previous Swarm Queen which states that any non-sentient
creature that is related to us should become part of the swarm &
brought to its highest potential. The 4th is a sort of
graduation when a Queen has mastered the Formic Psionic
discipline, but this does not mean they have learned everything
in the discipline (Zagara looks at Rokarr for a moment & turns
back to Myranda). & the 5th is by far the most complex for it
involves choosing who the next Swarm Queen will be."
Rokarr: "Mother has been the Swarm Queen since our home was
destroyed, thus such an event has not happened since the
previous Swarm Queen was chosen many cycles ago"

Kilysa has the Harvesters stop absorbing the fire storms for now
seeing that it only caused the pattern to shift, analyzing the
firestorms movement patterns & attractions she has the first
Harvester ignite an emp wave into the path of the firestorms to
see if anything changes in the storms behavior. She starts
thinking of other experiments to conduct. She doesnt yet know
any of the mastery level techniques of Psionics, so she asks her
mother if there are more advanced methods to utilizing
lightening.

Myranda: "Yes, not everyone can become Talmyr, otherwise it
would just be another noble title. Your rituals are quite
interesting, I'm especially interested on the fourth ritual and
how it is performed. ...It's good that the first species we
encounter considers rituals and symbolism important in society,
there are many Houses and individuals amongst the Ghashyr that
forget and scorn the traditions of our ancestors, but the
majority understands and respects their importance."
Myranda notices the look Zagara gave to Rokarr "I'm sure your
two daughters that I met will prove to be great leaders of your
people, at least that's what a mere paladin of a foreign species
presumes after meeting and discussing with them."
Myranda to Rokarr: "Who would be so cruel as to destroy a
species' planet of origin?"

A few firestorms errupt close to the EMP waves. Kilysa can
notice that they errupt from the surface of the planet and move
towards the sky in certain angles before they start moving
parallel to the ground, the atmosphere and each other. Hint:
"Donald is an uncle to Huey Dewey and Louie"

Zagara:
"ah yes it is curious you ask about this ritual as Rokarr went
through it a short time ago, The ritual of the Psionic
Discipline is very similar to war or martial disciplines that
some humanoid species have. The Queen of interest is to
demonstrate a certain proficiency or mastery of all Telepathic &
Telekinetic techniques & abilities from the basic level (known
as Shoku in the Formic Language), the advanced level ( Nenku), &
the Mastery Level ( Dyokujin). The Swarm Queen & several other
Queens who have already gone through the ritual judge the Queen
of interest. After the Queen has demonstrated everything the
judging Queens present a single challenge of their making to the
Queen to test her abilities under pressure if you will, then the
Swarm Queen will present 3 or more challenges. At the end of the
Swarm Queens Challenges the judging Queens give there opinion on
the Queens performance & if they think it is satisfactory, but
the ultimate decision for if the Queen passes or fails the
ritual lies with the Swarm Queens decision, & depending on if
the Queen passes or fails determines how the ritual ends. If a
Queen passes then she has earned the rank of Dyokujin. There are
3 additional levels after that but only 2 can be achieve without
being the Swarm Queen"
"Yes it is very welcome to meet species with similarities, it is
not often but there are rare times when a Queen goes Rogue &
dishonors the Formic traditions"
"Yes I am certainly proud of Rokarr, Kilysa, & my 5 other
daughters as well."
Kilysa: "It will be my turn reach Dyokujin soon."
Rokarr: "Well see about that, I hope your ready"
The glowing blue portion of Zagara's eyes turned into a fiery
orange color for a few moments after Myranda's question to
Rokarr, but then they turned back to blue
Seeing that her mom was thinking of the past Rokarr answer was
swift & short.
Rokarr: "None we have meet in this Galaxy thus far, but there do
seem to exist such creatures who think in those sorts of terms,
but I think it is a discussion for later"

Realizing that the firestorms were being generated from a source
under ground Kilysa had the Harvesters continue setting off emp
waves one at a time while she used a Psionic Sonar ability to
try & figure out what was going on under ground to cause these
fire storms.
(Hint: "Donald is an uncle to Huey Dewey and Louie", what about
Scrooge McDuck, ah so 3 pesky things are causing this mischief?)
( oh man no epic sand worm riding, lol )
( Heres a fun fact, Kilysa's name was developed from the word
khaleesi :P )
