galaxy is a long & painful story but your species may very well
benefit from knowing it, as fare as culture & space-faring
knowledge exchange you will have to discuss just with the Swarm
Queen since we usually only share such with trusted friends &
allies but im sure we can arrange a meeting with whom ever
wishes to meet, I still do not fully understand these politics
of singular sentient cultures but I will respect your request &
will be careful in traveling, Thank you for having us good sir"
as Kilysa was speaking the drone fighter squads scanning the
planet returned & went back in the Formic battle ships docking
bays, Kilysa telepathically had the other drone fighters go back
into the battleship as well.

Captain Myranda looked upon Kilysa and added with a smile
"Well, alone at last princess! What do you wish to know about
our species, I for one have to ask if you all speak in ...that
manner, through telepathy I mean"
Kilysa: "Im sure Captain Myranda will make her house proud,
farewell Lord Ator."
Kilysa: "Until recently all Formic's only spoke through
Telepathy, but thanks to scientific advancements of the Swarm
Queen herself a new sub-species has arisen with more humanoid
features including speaking in a physical voice if they so
choose. Well my best friend is a humanoid & I have learned a bit
about her culture first hand but it seems I will have to wait to
be able to experience yours, but my first two questions are if
you are hungry? I figured since its time for the brood to eat we
could sit & talk in my ship, next question is how well does your
species fare against radiation?"

Myranda swept the sweat from her forehead as the temperature
levels had a sudden rise(something regular in Remelax after the
millenia of firestorms), though her eyes were focused on Kilysa,
as was her interest.
"That is astonishing, a new sub-species! I'm impressed! I
presume you are a regular formic princess, not a mutated one,
yes? As you noticed, we as a people are not entirely strangers
to telepathy - though some of us consider it an evil of the
past; Our ancestors' emperors tried to alterate their DNA which
resulted in some magnificent bio-machines that could help a user
communicate telepathetically, but also read a person's thoughts.
To answer your questions my princess; radiation causes sickness
to most Ghashyr, but it is rarely lethal; many Ghashyr of the
Gal(moon) of Uragrax colony live with it everyday ...not that
I envy them. Also, I was about to dine when we detected your
presence so I'll gladly accept your invitation to your ship
...pherhaps we could later eat some Ilja from that Iljata over
there too, no?" Myranda points at an old tree with some big
purple fruits hanging.

Kilysa: "Well yes & no, our species has gone through various
changes throughout many centuries, we have technology that
allows us to mutate & add various features from certain sources
to become stronger & more efficient. interesting bio-machines
generating telepathy, ah not a problem I will have my energy
harvester absorb & contain the radiation to the engine chamber
to keep you from sickness. Excellent, ill have my workers grab
some Ilja for us as we walk to the ship. The ship is kept
alittle warm but not as much as Remelax weather, If you wish
your crew members may join as well, I can send my drones to go
fetch your vessel as well."
Even before Kilysa was finished talking worker drones were
already at the tree picking a few fruits & carrying them to the
ship, Energy Harvesters had already contained any radiation.

you should be careful when meddling with your biology ...it
didn't work that well for my species, we lost too much. And yes,
these machines were quite interesting; they connected with
certain parts of the brain area associated with premonition and
through transcranial magnetic stimulation enabled the wearer to
use what we like to call a ...sixth sense; practically being
able not only to pass messages to other individuals, but also
plant ideas and read thoughts. Of course hard training to master
the gifts of the mask was necessary and not everyone could do
it."
Myranda backed of a little, thinking to herself she was again
acting like a tech-ravax in a Ertendal convention "I hope I'm
not ranting again princess and thank you for considering my
wellbeing, my crewmembers could of course join us, though unlike
me they're not trained for such an instance, so don't be quick
to judge them"
Myranda pointed at the the big Formic vessel "Is this your main
ship?"

Kilysa: "Yes there were a few incidents that happened a few
centuries before I was born, but the process has been perfected
for our biology, but as anything there are limits & boundaries.
Ah they were tapping into the very beginnings of telepathy
fascinating. No your not ranting at all , other then being a
Queen my specialty is science & engineering, in fact it was I
that invented the integration of a mechanical system with our
organic ships. Not a problem I wouldnt want you to become
exhausted out here. I well have patience & understanding for
them. Oh no thats just a battleship, our hive carriers are the
largest, the newer ones will be around 8 - 10 times the length
of a battle ship once the rest of my brood is finished building.
But yes lets get you all inside, Ill send a few soldier drones
with you to collect your vessel if thats alright.
As Kilysa was speaking several soldier drones ran up on either
side behind her looking at Myranda for approval.

Myranda looked at the soldiers and back to Kilysa "Actually my
princess, I'll order them to come here themselves; they're just
behind these hills and our hydropneymatic transporter functions
perfectly, no need to burden your brood with such dealings"
myranda opened her communicator "All crew report at the landing
area of the Formic spaceship"
"Now, where was I? ah, of course! I'm glad to hear that you're
also interested in mechanics, actually, telepathy was the least
that the masks could do; the myths tell of powers unimagineable
to mortals; the power to materialise thoughts in space and time,
travelling merely through the power of mind ~ If only we had
saved a single fraction of that technology..." sighed Myranda,
with some short of ambitious gleam in her eyes and continued;
"Nevertheless, the Taggaren dynasty used this form of technology
as well as the Tube Energy not for the good of our species but
for their own personal success. Not many things have changed
since then to be honest... ...You said that's a battleship
right? It looks short of like a Shyrite Assault Corvette,
size-wise, I do like the patterns on it ...they oddly seem
quite familiar"
As Myranda and Kilysa were speaking, the Ghashyr crew showed up
clad in full armour and bearing the banner of House Martael,
Thiror Askranlach walked first towards the two, bumped his heart
with his fist and raised his helmet "Salutations Captain, I
Decarx(Lieutenant) Thiror Askranlach and the crew of Asalya are
answering your call" and the whole crew proceeded to salute
Myranda and Kilysa, slightly shocked that they were standing so
close to an alien species, but also bound by military tradition
to remain calm.
Myranda quickly turned towards her crew "At ease crew, these
species are called the Formics, this is honorable Princess
Kilysa and her brood you have before you, they come from far
away, so treat them with respect" Myranda quickly focused on
Kilysa "This is my crew Kilysa, they are; Thiror Askranlach -
second in command, Alina Orgon - communications technician,
Rosdax Amys - engineer."

all but 4 soldiers run back into the ship to feed.
Kilysa: "Very well, intersting, my mother told me of master &
secret level psionic abilities but Ive never heard of
materializing thoughts & psionic travel, I assume it would be a
form of teleportation, do not fret, im certain that your species
can unlock such things once again. Taggaren Dynasty, I got the
sense from Ator that these houses are all seeking to conquer the
others in some way or fashion. Yes it is, that is incredible
indeed, that design is based of the first Formic space vessel, I
would like to see your species ships some time."
Kilysa, the Hive Guardians, & soldier drones all look at
Myranda's crew.
Kilysa: "Good evening......."
Kilysa stopped suddenly, the Hive Guardians & soldiers moved
closer in a concerned protective manner as she looked up in the
sky for a few moments before addressing Myranda & her crew.
Kilysa: "Forgive me, something terrible is going on in the
galaxy, my mother is sending one of my eldest sisters to
accompany me, she will be here very soon. but ill explain later,
it is very nice meeting you Thiror, Alina, & Rosdax."
Kilysa & the other Formics with her bow slightly. "Well lets go
eat & relax so we can talk more"
Kilysa lead everyone to a port in the side of the ship, the
inside of the ship looked similar to a chain of underground
caverns & chambers made of a some what soft bark like organic
material with 30 cm oval carpel like structures growing on the
ceiling glowing with a bright firefly like light. A few
machanical components could be seen here & there but they seemed
more like add ons. When everyone walked into the feeding chamber
they would see various alien trees, grass, other vegetation, & a
lake in the middle of the chamber. Various drones & larvae could
be seen eating various fruits & vegetation. Kilysa lead
everyone to more secluded section with large leaves in a
circles, each with Fruit from the tree outside, fruit & vegi's
from the ship, & fish from the lake. Kilysa sat & waited for
everyone to start eating before she started.
Kilysa: "If you prefer to have the fish & vegetation heated &
spiced just let me know"

Myranda's crew slightly confused by Kilysa's telepathic "Good
evening" saluted once more and bowed while Alina muttered to
Thiror "I hope they won't carry us to their ant colony like
seeds", Thiror rolled his eyes "Don't be ridiculous, we have a
case of imported aliens in our system, this mission is
import-ant".
Captain Myranda who could hear her crew facepalmed pretty hard
"Ok enough with your antics ...err, nuisance I mean... be quiet,
or you'll end up as guards in the Arsaz mines of Jodax II."
The Captain turned to Kilysa "Sorry about that, they're young
cadets all of them. I hope this disturbance you felt in the
cosmos doesn't affect your kin, I'd be very glad to meet your
sister."
She agreed to Kilysa's proposal of going inside and then started
walking along Kilysa and into the peculiar alien spacehip,
following her to the eating chamber "This spaceship... you
Formics must have a very strong binding with nature! And yes,
I'd like to try the fish spiced, my homeplanet, Doth, is famous
for its spices so it would be quite bad for our reputation if I
didn't" said Myranda jokingly. "Now, let's continue where we
left off; Yes, it was some short of teleportation, hence the
Taggarens could be everywhere they wanted whenever they wanted
...it was quite bad for their enemies. As for our 'Houses' your
observation couldn't be more accurate, the Taggarens were
tyrants but they ruled in peace - when their dynasty fell some
thousand years ago, noble families started fighting for the
throne of the Empire and kept doing so up until recent times, as
of now we have had peace for about 50 years under the
Valxaryens, but this peace is not going to last any longer. By
the way; what does your name mean, Kilysa? Mine means Queen-Luck
from Myra(queen) and Aneda(luck)"

Kilysa: "I am not certain if it will just yet, but yea Rokarr is
nice but shes a bit old school if you will, by the way what is
an ant? I assure you I dont mind humanoid jokes, in fact I quite
enjoy them, I giggled to myself with the thought of having you
all wrapped in leaves like new born hatchlings are sometimes
after hearing your joke."

As everyone talked a large siege drone & several worker drones
walked up. The workers collected the raw fish & wrapped them in
individually with medium sized leaves. Half were wrapped with
chunks of a fruit that was like a cross between a mango & Dragon
Fruit. The other half was wrapped with a sort of herb that
gives a sweet & spicy flavor. the wrapped fish were placed in a
line in front of the siege drone, sparking a constant medium
flame from its mouth the siege drone went over each fish for a
few moments letting the leaves catch a small flame which slowly
spread around the wrapped fish cooking it. As if a timer went
off a worker would lightly pat each wrap putting the flame out.
Then they put the wraps in 2 piles inside large leaves which
were placed in the middle of were everyone sat.
Several formic larvae of various types & sizes from 40 cm to 1 m
start crawling towards Kilysa & the visitors from one of the
tree's close by.
Kilysa: "Yes we naturally have a strong bond with nature other
then our psionic's, Your history sounds similar to my own, many
eons ago Formic Queens & their broods started fighting to the
death each trying to dominate the others, this lasted for
hundreds of years with powerful queens rising & eventually
falling to a rival or there own daughter of mother, this was
known as the Warring Queens Era. This lasted nearly several
thousand years with various periods of truces which crumbled &
fell each time a brood out grew its borders. This finally ended
when a Queen managed to convince her first born daughter to form
an alliance with her, together they eventually wiped out all
other Queens & broods & conquer our home planet. I hope such
does not happen with your Houses. Ive never been asked that, it
is some what complex & has several possible meanings as it
pertains conditions surrounding my birth, several meanings are,
the last war egg, stilness of the storm, & peace amongest
strife."
Rokarr using psionic shield to mask her presence as she arrived
above Remelax with 4 Battleships & 5 battle cruisers. She
scanned the planet & surrounding area before dropping her
psionic shield.
