the common people their self rule. however, they have only one
real power: control of the budget and taxation. while We may do
as We please with no limitations, only the senate may grant Us
the funds to do so. the Senate may, in addition, send Us bills
and laws they wish for Us to implement, but it is solely Our
choice to do so.
Our line has ruled what is now the Vania Republic for long
before it was named so, before gun and shot overtook steel and
arrow. however, We are not the only one who rules by Divine
Right. there are still nations that are countries onto
themselves. the Vania Republic only controls all outside of the
Homeworld.

We were saddened, for We care deeply for all of Our subjects.
however, it was, after all, done by a nation that no longer
exists. little blame can thus be put at the feet of Shokou. as
We have been informed by the VIA, the ones ultimately behind it
are now dead.

Yeah, you'll find that Iammelonians don't bow to anybody lacking
our loyalty, so I'm sorry that I will have to fail in that
regard Mr. Emperor. But I do have one question for ya. How much
control does your government hold over your Corporations, like
those Atlas fellows? They seem to have a great deal of autonomy,
to the level that's it hard to tell where your government and
their corporate structure diverges.

the Corporations of Our Republic fall under Our control. while
they are given autonomy in many areas, these privileges can be
revoked at anytime, as they have been in the past. although it
is rarely needed, they have shown remarkable loyalty to both US
and the Republic, and would surely never do anything that went
against Our interests. but make no mistake, We are always
watching.
