       Gaia Charter and Roles

       This thread is to help form Gaia's charter, define its aims and
       goals (short and long term), and the role of its President and
       Secretary (and Treasurer, when we eventually hit more than 50
       members).
       We started off with Gaia as wildlife/environment thought and
       action group that would:
       (a) Share knowledge, news, research, and other hot topics on the
       environment, wildlife, biological sciences, and animal welfare;
       (b) Exchange news on opportunities to volunteer for, intern in,
       and support relevant institutes, events, and causes; and
       (c) (in the long run) Participate in and organise events and
       workshops as a team!
       We want to build up on this and make it more specific.
       So, question to y'all:  What did you expect from Gaia when you
       signed up? What would you like to be doing with and for wildlife
       and environment as a part of Gaia?
