       Environment and Interactive Education!

       Hello folks!
       When GAIA was created, the first thing I thought of was how
       engaging the public with events and issues surrounding the
       environment and wildlife has gone to a whole new level.
       Understanding the complexity of conservation issues, laws and
       policies, and the sheer difficulty of putting things to action
       is difficult enough for an insider...
       So I thought it would be great to have a thread sharing some
       effective and mind-blowing interactive tools created for
       educating the masses! The idea is for us to:
       a) PLAY SOME COOL GAMES!
       b) Gain ideas and perspective from the game concept; and
       c) Share the games that we think are cool (I'm definitely
       FB-sharing them if I find some good stuff!)
       My favourite is THIS:

       Al Jazeera came up with a fantastic Pirate Fishing interactive
       game, getting the player neck-deep in trouble with illegal
       fishing in Sierra Leone. It's an amazing example of interactive
       environmental journalism. Go get them Blackbeards!  ;D
