       Robin Gibb Died

       On the heels of losing Donna Summer, tragedy(no pun intended) be
       falls the music world again as Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees lost
       his bout with cancer at 62 years old.

       Bee Gees and Donna Summer provided the soundtrack to an era, if
       not many of our childhoods.
       It's hard to imagine 1977-82 without thinking of the (pop) music
       of either Donna or Bee Gees...
       NYC radio was always rock stations, pop stations, and
       r&b/soul/disco.
       I'd venture to guess that we heard a lot more Donna Summer or
       Bee Gees cranking out of car windows in the those summertimes
       seasons than 3 and a half minute classic rock tunes...(which was
       all my favorite stuff, don't get me wrong..)
