Back story to Shayne Red's life
       The Birth of Shayne Red
On the second of July 1991 a happy young couple gave birth to
there first son and named him Shayne Red he was a fairly average
baby with brown eyes and very light brown hair weighing at 7lb 8
ounces. Soon enough they returned home with their new born baby,
as they entered the average 2 bedroom terraced house in a lower
classed area in Liberty City, they raised him from his car seat
and held him for most of the night.
       Growing Up
The toddler years for Shayne were the same as most, running
around the family home causing mischief, writing over the walls.
Then the day came where he started at nursery, he enjoyed it
very much and made some great friends, spending lots of time
with them after nursery around each others houses with their
parents. a few months into nursery is when things took the first
turn down the dark road. His father had gotten into some debt
from gambling, at first it caused lots of arguments and tension
between the parents then came the stage where he would stop out
most nights or come home drunk and bruised.
Shayne had hit the age of 7 now and it was a usual thing in his
life, his mother had come to accept her husbands behaviour until
he disappeared for 4 days without a word, this had her worried
and she contacted the police they promised they would do
everything in their power to find him, they started by asking
lots of questions amongst the family hunting for as much
information as they could, a few more days past his mother grew
more and more worried, it was affecting the whole family, Shayne
was missing days or late for school and his mother was getting
into a worse state as the days past, she had lost her job, she
was neglecting household tasks and care toward Shayne, she had
       lost all hope.
       High School
At 12 years old Shayne was heading into Liberty High for his
first day as a senior, he was riddled with nerves. only a small
amount of his friends were joining him the rest had moved on to
the more higher classed and expensive schools. so there he was
12 years old standing in front of the school gates as his eyes
darted around the area examining where he would be spending most
of his days for the next few years. His father had still not
turned up so he grew to slack a little with no dominant male to
keep him in line. he got mixed in with some bad crowds they got
to him they made him push his friends away, he was dropping
grades, started stealing but that was only the skin of his
       troubles.
       The Big Change
3 years later now 15 and Shayne had the same attitude as most of
the teens that age, he thought he was one of the big shots in
town, he had his boys to back him and they would run the
streets. After being on his last legs at school for violent and
disruptive behaviour, he took to the streets with his gang and
they managed to slip their way into some money making schemes
from hustling other kids to selling dope and crack. His mother
was aware he was up to no good but not fully aware of just how
deep he was but she had very little options, she was a single
mother with no job and no spirit. It was only when it all turned
dark that she realised Shayne was heading down his fathers path,
he was out most nights stealing, fighting and drinking he had
also been arrested many times for crimes. There were other gangs
in the city too, some bigger and stronger others still trying to
make a name for themselves, one of the guys in the gang with
Shayne turned up one day in a stolen blue van and a few of the
boys jumped in, after a few minutes of driving they stopped and
hopped out Shayne looked around and to his surprise he was in a
freight yard filed with shipping containers. The boys began
wandering through the containers until they stopped at one, it
was a rusty coloured green with a huge padlock on the door, one
of the boys pulled out a key and tugged the large door open
before they all headed inside, there was a brief amount of light
before the door was closed behind them, then a light flickered
on and Shayne looked around to see drugs and guns everywhere.
The Beginning Of A Long Road
At 17 everything changed Shayne was at home having another row
with his mother about the usual issues when a heavy sounding
thud came from the door, they both became silent as they stood
staring at the door for a few seconds, then the thud returned,
it wasn't like a normal knock on the door sound it was the sound
of anger and force. That's when Shayne pulled the pistol form
under his shirt and his mothers face had dropped, she didn't
know he had a gun, she was shocked and upset and shouted to
Shayne demanding to know what was going on. Tears filled her
eyes as she realised what her beloved son had become, he wasn't
the small baby that both his parents loved to much to put down
when he was born nor the small boy from nursery, he was a thug
and he hurt people, She felt week on her feet as she stumbled to
the old raggedy couch the slumped down and creed into her hands.
Shayne looked over to his mother then back to the door, gun in
hand he headed to the door swung it open and aimed the pistol to
the stranger, It was a man, he looked old a worn had cuts and
scars all over, greasy hair and in desperate need of a clean
shave, after a few minutes of staring at each other, it hit him
he was staring into the eyes of his father the man who had been
missing for 10 years without a trace.
Days later the family were working through there issues but his
father was reluctant to tell them where he had been or what had
happened, after much arguing about events that had taken place
over the years Shayne left the house without a word, over the
next few weeks he stayed with his fellow gang. Standing at 18
years old, with his so called friends he spent his days and
nights partying, they decided to hit the town one night not all
of them were old enough to gain entry to any of the bigger clubs
but they would sneak in to the ones they could, many drinks
later a fight erupted in the middle of the club Shayne's guys
and one of the other bigger gangs in the city, they new they
were out number and stood no chance but they dived straight on
in. The club security came rushing over to defuse the dispute
between the gangs unaware of their stories. That's when the
first gunshot was heard, the clubbers started screaming and
heading for the exits the security requested police assistance
and the club filled out leaving only a few of the gang members
behind, there in the club stood Shayne and a few of his guy's
and one of the other gang member. He was on the floor surrounded
by blood, Shayne looked down seeing the gun in his hand with his
finger on the trigger, they fled the scene as quick as they
could, moments later the whole area was sealed off with police
investigating it had turned from a night out to a gang brawl
       then into a murder.
       The Exit
Shayne hit the age of 19 and had still not returned to his
family home he was mad inside about his fathers disappearance
then how he turned up out of the blue and refused to explain.
The police were still doing investigations at the club where the
opposing gang member was shot dead, Shayne had to get rid of the
gun, and destroy all he could to stop this leading back to him.
Some of the other rivals had been crawling around his local
estate in blacked out cars driving slowly, the boys new
something was up they new what had happened, They wanted
Shayne's blood spilled in return for their own. This was it for
Shayne he had to get out for good, he didn't know how but he had
to, he headed straight to his family to tell them everything and
his plans to leave Liberty City. His mother broke down and he
father walked out again so Shayne headed for the door just as
another blacked out car passed, he slammed the door shut and
prayed they hadn't noticed him. he quickly headed out the back
door and began hopping garden fences, heading back to his boys,
he grabbed a wad of cash from the house and left without a
       trace.
       Old Faces
He stepped off the plane in a brand new city, the city of Los
Santos, all he had was the clothes on his back and the spare
cash he had grabbed when he left. It took sometime getting
settled into the new city and he met many new people some
friends some not so close, one face he will always remember
bumping into was one of his friends from Liberty City, his
closest friend in his early years that he had lost all contact
with when he took the step into high school, his friend Eddie
Rozenberg. Eddie was already living it up in Los Santos he had
his own home a job a car and his friends and family. Eddie
helped Shayne start his new life in Los Santos, he got him lined
up with a job and gave him a place to stay until he found his
feet. Shayne was moving on up he had managed to get his very own
house then bought a cheap car to get to work and back day by day
making money, after some time he brought some of his old skills
back into life and started pushing drugs and guns again to make
a bit extra cash. He was living his life in harmony, until it
turned on him again and Eddied had cracked under pressure and
took his own life. Shayne was torn for months but he managed to
pull himself back up and live on in memory of his friend.
       The Start of The Empire
Time passed and he did all he could to make money, he stumbled
from job to job and met more new faces along his journey. One
day he noticed a To Let sign on a local club he enquired to the
local council about the venue and after much hard work managed
to get the club back open, It was full of happy yet drunk party
people. Weeks of more hard work had passed when the council
decided they were to sell of the club, Shayne was devastated he
had grown to love the club and couldn't bare to leave, he did
everything in his power to buy it out from the council and even
had to sell his nice house for a small one bedroomed apartment.
Then there he was his name was above the door of the club the
paperwork had all been signed and various documents changed and
haggled to suit his requirements, and there he was the proud new
       official owner of K's.
       The Crash Of The Empire
Time passed on Shayne spent most of his time working the club up
to be one of the most popular venues in the city, he made more
and more money and profits and bought a new house and some fast
cars and even bought a yacht. That's when he decided to spruce
up his second home a little, he hired a few builders to come
into the club and make some changes, new lighting filled the
club with new equipment, furniture, and some new TV's. He paid
the builders for their work and they left, that's when he got a
phone call that could change everything, it was a friend of his
who was just passing by his club when he was stopped by police,
the road was closed, Shayne's pride and joy lay in a blaze of
flames, the whole club everything he had worked for burnt down
in a matter of minutes. He came rushing over nearly causing
crashes and hitting pedestrians in the race to his club, he
pulled up to see the smoke poring out, the firemen had just
managed to defeat the blaze. Shayne couldn't get out of the car
he couldn't move he was frozen there. After loosing his club he
had no income so he had to hunt for another job to keep him
afloat but one job could never cover all his expenses, he had no
choice he sold his yacht and took the cash from it and began
loan sharking and selling illegal goods. The fire detectives had
called him and told him the fire was started by an electrical
fault in one of the new TV's he had fitted, it was a bodge job,
and would never have past health and safety regulations.
       A New Leaf
After doing all he can to keep his cash flow coming he got
pulled over in a truck, the officers searched his good and found
boxes full of illegal gun materials and Shayne was sent straight
into prison. after being released he made the mistake of doing
it all again and the same process repeated itself. it was when
he hit 22 he straightened out his act, dropping his past, he
took to the transport office and joined up to drive busses, this
was a fresh start in Shayne's life, a new beginning, possibly a
       new end...
       To Be Continued
