Cruise Control Suggetion

•IG name:
Dean Grande
•Your suggestion:
I would like to see a Cruise Control feature on the new script,
I think, in my opinion that the reason why the most people,
don't drive Rp'ly,
Is because you have to spam your key, in order to drive a normal
speed, it's also a bit anoying to spam your key.
I think it can be so much better if there was a cruise control
feature, this way you are able to drive a amount of speed,
constantly
Aswell, this will incrase the roleplay environment.
•Advantages:
It will increase the Rply driving, aswell it will give space for
a more detailed roleplay, since you don't have to hold your key,
so while driving on a straight road, you are able to use /me's
and /do's or having a normal conversation way easier.

Agreed with the cruise control (CC) feature; although I don't
think it can actually allow the player to use /me's and /do's
while driving. The way I see it, there's 2 ways to incorporate
CC: we can either
- Toggle it, changing the max speed of the car to
around 50mph, and hold the W key; or
- Hold the W key until the desired speed, and hold
another key (left Alt or something) to enable CC.
Either way, I don't think it would enable players to have a
normal conversation... Unless CC would be like auto-pilot :P
Then again, it's just my opinion; I know nothing about SA:MP
scripting :s

I will look into it when I'm done working on my current
projects. I will try to make it work like this:
- You type a command to set your speed.
- You can enable the cruise control by pressing CTRL once. And
you can disable it by pressing CTRL again. So you won't have to
hold the key therefore you can use /me's and /do's
If you think you have a better way to do it post it here. Else,
I will lock this topic and mark it as approved.

Either way, you'll still have to hold the W key to actually
move, so I don't think you'll be able to use commands, unless
you have binds for them... Unless the cruise control will be
like an auto pilot. Then again... What do I know about
scripting :P
