Server Rules for Fulcrum Dark Role Play:
Basic Rules Guide:
These rules will follow three simple steps:
1) You will be warned on what you have done, no question about
it. If you have not been told what you have done, report the
person dealing with you to the Head Admin.
2) You will then be kicked.
3) You will then be banned for a certain period of time based on
the severity of the situation. It could be from 30 minutes all
the way up to 7 days- so abide the rules stated in this post.
Basic Rules:
1) No Random Death Match(ing) with other players. (RDM)
2) No breaking New Life Rule after being killed. This rule is
discounted if the person that killed you, broke the rules.
(NLR). NLR lasts for 2 minutes, you may then return to the area
where you were killed.
3) No harassing, racism, verbally abusing, or persistent killing
of anyone. We also do not judge on this server, so respect
other's opinions.. We class this as bullying, and it WILL not be
tolerated.
4) Do not insult an admin, they will try to do their best to
solve your problems.
5) Other server rules will not always be the same as ours, do
not use this as an excuse to break rules.
6) Do not leave the server if you're about to be punished, this
will result in a permanent ban, accept the rules or face further
consequences.
7) This is an English speaking server only, we would appreciate
it if you kept other languages within programs like Skype, Team
Speak etc.
8 ) Kill-on-sight lines are allowed, however these lines must be
made of rope,and clearly marked, "Do not cross or you will be
KOS'd".
9) Do not prop kill, this means do not get a prop ( object ) and
kill somebody.
10) Do not prop push, this means do not get a prop and push
somebody.
11) Do not spam the chat, it will not be tolerated.
12) Last of all, no Meta-Gaming. Meta gaming is when you see
things within the game , that state something that you can
benefit from, but would not actually be there in real life. An
example, if a Hitman has " Hit-Accepted " above his head, you
are not to know this. Do not role play in the /OOC either, this
is classed as Meta-gaming, as it does stand for 'Out of
character'.
Item Rules:
1) No placing your items/props on somebody's property without
their permission.
2) No placing items on the road, unless you are a hobo or own
ever single building within that area.
3) KOS Lines are only to be placed within a building or
connected to buildings that you own - you must own every single
door in the building.
Raiding:
You can only raid as a Thief, Gangster or Mob Boss. To raid, you
must say that you are raiding, then also give a command. You
must not kill anyone in a raid if you have not given a command,
or it'll be classed as RDM. Example: /advert Raid, Everyone
crouch and face the wall or be shot!. You MUST say that you are
raiding in /advert. You can only raid the same place every 15
minutes.
Mugging:
Mugging can only be done with the Thief class. To mug simply
type in /advert Mug 1000 , or whichever amount of money you
choose to demand. You must at least give them 10 seconds to
speak back to you, only then are you allowed to kill them or
it'll be classed as RDM. Mugging can only to the same individual
every 5 minutes.
Lock-down:
A lock-down is only to be done if there is a belief within the
Civil protection that the town is under threat, attack or the
civilians of the town are in danger of being called. Failure to
provide a good reason of doing a lock-down will result in a
warning, kick then ban. The mayor is the only person able to
call lock down.
Gangs:
Gangs are automatically at war. KOS'ing as a gang member is
fine, as long as it is not persistent. The only people allowed
in a gang is the Mob-boss class, the gangster class, the
bodyguard class, and the thief class. You can declare a
permanent gang war on another gang meaning that you can go to
their base and kill them without having to type /advert raid.
Though, this is entirely dependent on whether the opposite gang
accepts the proposal of the gang war.
