This case from the MSE site was recently discontinued - the same
will probably happed to you.
Moorside are tied in knots - your previous letter didn't need to
provide further evidence - it simply set out the true position.
You could write back and offer £0 settlement on the grounds that
there remains not route to liability in this matter.

Hi, makes for encouraging reading though my case seems to be
heading for court.
Do you think responding direct to Moorside is worthwhile, they
don't seem minded to let good sense prevail at the present time?
If I were to write to them, would referencing the recently
discontinued case be beneficial?

Moorside are incompetent, won’t care, and nothing you write will
change anything. I’d just stick with the process. Or do as
[member=6750]InterCity125[/member] suggests, it’s up to you.
