Hounslow, code 73u parked without payment, Hanworth Airparks Lei

       Good day all
This relates to a PCN I received for parking in the car park for
this swimming pool, whilst using their facilities.
The car park offers 2 hours free parking, and to qualify for
this you must register your vehicle via the paybyphone app. On
this particular day I had forgotten to do so.
I have spoken with the staff at the leisure centre, they have
informed me they cannot help as they have no authority to
       intervene.
Any advice on how I might navigate this? I have a record of
attendance for a swimming lesson on that day, but no evidence of
me registering my vehicle (as I did not!)

       You can try two points:
No parking charge could be paid as you were in the free 2 hours
(if true) so the contravention did not occur. Would help if you
have proof of less than 2 hours there.
Ask for discretion owing to a rare oversight given you are a
regular user of the leisure centre.
I don't think you can claim the terms weren't clear although the
CEO didn't include a pic of the entry sign if that's still
       there.
