       There's every chance that a picture taken on a mobile phone
       contains geo information which you may not know is there.
       I'm not suggesting that you'd ever have to produce that geo info
       but it's best to consider what you might add if the parking
       operator rebutted your photo.
       You appear to have an incredibly strong defence - namely;
       inconsistent signage.
       So, if you ever had to defend the matter, your legal defence
       would be that you accepted the 'offer of contract' which was set
       out on the sign which offered the 3 hour terms.

       Also, as b789 says if it goes to a court claim they will
       discontinue before paying the fee.
