Hi,
There are no other signs.
I went there again. As you enter the road you can see only that
it's a one way street.
Then on the wall is the EM-L(see below), which I've posted
earlier.
No other signs.
EM-L on the wall, high up. Also visible as shining sign on the
warden photos, high up on the left.
Its a small plate at high level.

As my 14 day grace period is coming to an end. Do you think I
should challenge this?

It's not an enforceable car club bay.
The road marking is clear, but the sign is not permitted, it
MUST include the car club symbol, but it doesn't.
Contravention did not occur.
The Traffic Signs etc. Regulations make it clear that a Car Club
bay must be accompanied by a prescribed sign which MUST contain
the prescribed 'Car Club' symbol. (Item 5 to Part 5 of Schedule
4 to the Regulations applies).
The sign in this case is shown in the authority's own
photographic evidence, namely Permit Holders only . As the
contravention grounds state Car Club, then it follows that even
if a motorist holds Permit E-ML this would not be a defence
against a 'Car Club' contravention.
