Hello,
Please could I ask for some more advice please? I received the
usual letter stating that it will now go to court. However, I
have received another letter “General Form of Judgment or order”
stating that the matter will be transferred to the County Court
at Sheffield despite me requesting Wigan. “A party wishing to
make an application must send or deliver the application to the
court ( together with any appropriate fee) to arrive within
seven days of service of this Order”
Why would this be? There are also no details about how I can
appeal this. It does say I have a right to reply.

Apologies for the “disagree”, I don’t know why that happened.
If your N180 says Wigan then you need to fix this, contact
whoever sent you this and send them your N180.
You should have completed and returned a N180 form as part of
the process. What does your MCOL account record say?

I requested Wigan and that is what is says on the MCoL. This is
the letter in full:
Before Deputy District Judge Lau sitting at the County Court at
Wigan, Wigan and Leigh Courthouse, Darlington WN1 1DW
IT IS ORDERED THAT
Because this order has been made by the court without
considering representations from the parties, the parties have
the right to reply to have the ordered set aside, varied or
stayed.
A party wishing to make an application must send or deliver the
application to the court (together with any appropriate fee) to
arrive within seven days of service of this order.
This matter shall be transferred to the County Court at
Sheffield.
How do I appeal?

As I said, you need to contact whoever sent this to you.

You need to tell them to fix their mistake, maybe politely!

Hello,
I did as you said and requested it be moved back to my
designated court and this is the reply (handwritten) “please be
aware this claim number is not recognised as a Wigan county
court claim number”
There was no claim number on the letter so I put the claim
number from DCBLegal. I’m having a nightmare here!
Please help.

Hello,
The claimant must either pay the £27 trial fee or file a
properly completed application by 13 August. If they fail to do
so, the claim will be struck out automatically without any
further order from the court.
I'll keep you updated. 🙂
I also noticed that the claim no longer shows DCB Legal and has
reverted back to Bank Park Management.
I'm really hoping it doesn't come to the point where you have to
attend court.

Good news!! Email from DCB legal:
We act for the Claimant in the above matter.
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings
and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the
Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.
We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.
