That seems along the lines of what I was thinking about, yes.
I don’t understand your second question. Other than that you
should use MCOL to enter your defence.

Btw this was already sent to them within the timeframe and I
received an acknowledgment letter as well stating that DCBL
might contact me. I`ll just wait now. Thank you for your help

It’l be DCB Legal, not DCBL. But don’t take any telephone calls
from them, everything should be in writing.

Defense was submitted on May 22nd with the following text

Search the forum for N180 and you’ll find advice on its
completion, such as:

Received a telephone mediation appointment - 3 hour window. Can
anyone let me know how that works as I might be at work on that
day and it will be a bit tricky to pick up the phone straight
away.

Someone will ring you, supposedly at any time within this
window.
Search the forum for "mediation" if you want to know more, but
essentially once they've called you offer £0 to settle, your
offer will be refused and that will be that.
