Thanks for the quick reply [member=636]jfollows[/member], that's
helpful, and I've just spotted that in the Response pack (still
trying to upload images. Sometimes it works here, sometimes
not).
Will any additional costs be added on if I defend the claim and
lose? Or will it stay at the total amount shown on the Claim
Form of £215 (£130 amount claimed + £35 court fee and £50 legal
representative's costs).

The Small Claims Track does not allow additional costs. You can
also contest the additional £50 I think.

Thanks for clarifying, sounds like it's worth defending then,
although I'll definitely need help.

The good news is that your original Notice to Keeper from
Parking Eye is an NtK which the County Court has already
established as being non compliant for the purposes of POFA
keeper liability.
Your defence should centre on that point.
Subsequent to that court case, PE updated their NtK wording.
That Court Order is here;

Thanks [member=6750]InterCity125[/member], that's reassuring to
hear. That's how I responded to Parking Eye's original NtK
thanks to [member=26]b789[/member].
I've extended my time to reply and will take a closer look once
I'm back from holiday.

No problem.
We can help you with a short and sweet defence once you get
back.

[member=6750]InterCity125[/member] I'm now back so would
appreciate some help with that "short and sweet defence" please.
I need to respond by tomorrow (9 September) so I hope it's not
too short notice. Thanks in advance!
