Hi all,
I haven't received any letter or email from Bath council,
usually you receive a reply within a month (at least from
councils in London) but it's now close to two months, should I
be a bit worried?
Thanks.

Worry not.
The PCN was surely served under the Traffic Management Act 2004
? Regulation 6 of The Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic
Contraventions (Representations and Appeals) (England)
Regulations 2022 puts a mandatory limit of 56 days from receipt
of formal representations against a postal PCN :-
HTML https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukdsi/2022/9780348232752/regulation/6
So they are either close to the 56 day limit or have exceeded
it. Have you checked on their website to see the status of the
PCN ?

When I use their form to make a payment and put pcn number and
reg number, I see this message:
There is currently nothing outstanding on this notice.

Looks like they have cancelled it without telling you. but best
to check with them. I would do this by email quoting the PCN
Number and telling them you submitted representations on <date>.
The period the council is allowed for responding to those
representations is 56 days. It is now <nn> days since the
representations were submitted, well over the 56 day limit,
therefore the PCN must be cancelled.

I have calculated it’s 51 days including weekends since I
appealed I’ll wait another week and send them email.
This is the email I found:

The 56 days is counted from the date the council receive the
representations. So if you send by post you must allow for that.
If done on-line then obviously they get the reps straightaway.

I'd hold off a bit longer, if I were you. They may have already
sent out a response and it's still in the post.

They cancelled the PCN and sent email which might have gone to
spam as I have no record in my email about it.
Thanks everyone for you help.
