A very good afternoon all
I overstayed in the enfiled retail parking while visiting Krispy
Kreme and was working from there from my laptop. I ordered a
doughnut and a coffee. I lost track of time. I spoke to KK and
they said they cant do anything and speak to Mets. Here is the
PCN.
Any grounds to appeal?

Have a read of this thread for a near identical case of a MET
parking PCN issued for an alleged contravention at a Krispy
Kreme:

I can assure you that if you follow the advice in that thread,
the outcome will be the same. That one has not yet concluded but
will eventually be discontinued, just before they have to pay
the £27 trial fee in a few months time. That one has been
ongoing for over 10 months now and has another few months to
run.
What I can assure you, with greater than 99.9% confidence, is
that it will be discontinued.
Just follow the same advice as in that thread and you will, in
around a year from now be very relived to find an N279 Notice of
Discontinuance (NoD) in the post issued by DCB Legal.
