TfL PCN 50r Performing a prohibited turn (No right turn)

Received this in the mail yesterday.
Does anyone know if there is any relevant grounds to challenge
this PCN?
Rather not pay the £160 (£80 if paid within 14 days).

So you were trying to defeat the no right turn at the lights or
did you turn left at the junction and then right?

The No Right Turn applies to the road the OP took, see here the
two NRT signs : -

Can this be the restriction the OP was trying to circumvent ?

I see nothing in the circumstances to indicate any solid appeal
argument, although there may be a 'technical' appeal argument,
but I'm not an expert on TfL PCNs and enforcement process. See

Good morning Stamfordman,
I was attempting to defeat the no right turn.
Previously the road markings & signage clearly stated that only
buses could do the right turn at the junction of Prince of Wales
Road/Stratheden Road, onto Shooters Hill Road.
So it was a common practice to crossover the junction & traffic
permitting, turn right slightly further down on Stratheden Road,
into the slip lane that exits onto Shooters Hill Road.
Google Street View location below I think shows the junction
before the cctv cameras were installed.

Good morning Incandescent,
Yes that is the restriction I was attempting to circumvent.
Interesting to know if there is a ‘technical’ appeal argument
with relation to the PCN.

"So it was a common practice to crossover the junction & traffic

So clearly the council have moved to stop that by putting in the
NRT signs. The only thing I can think of is, have they updated
the traffic order for this junction.

the advise you are getting is worth nought without sight of the
video. You must ask TFL for it then post it on here

Good morning Incandescent,
Will endeavour to find out if the traffic order for the junction
has been updated.

Good morning Pastmybest,
I have requested the DVD from TfL & been told to expect it
within 15 days. Once I receive it, I will post it on here.

See the first link in my forum profile. PCN is flawed.
