       As I understand it, their reply is dated 25th and offers the
       discount for 14 days 'from the date of service', which begs the
       question how did you receive this on 25th, or did it come by
       email with letter to follow. Best and worst case scenarios are
       that the discount ends 12/8 October, so you've got time to
       canvas other views.
