       Hi
I have received the attached speeding ticket but it is for an
offence in May and was recieved on 30th July. Don't they have
to be received within 14 days of the offence.
       All help appreciated
       Thank you

What is your relationship to the vehicle?

It has to be served on the Registered Keeper.
Are you the Registered Keeper? i.e. do you have the V5C
       (logbook)? Are the details correct?

The request for driver details needs to be completed regardless.
Failure to do so is a separate offence and not affected by any
       late NIP.
If the vehicle isn't leased or a company vehicle, or you haven't
moved and failed to update your V5C we can look at what might
have gone wrong and advise on the next course of action.

The OP doesn’t seem to want to overburden us with details. The
“read this first” sticky might be of interest.

When did you purchase the car? What is the issue date on your
       V5C?
Edit. We have been previously told that the 'system' doesn't
allow a NIP to be issued out of time. So outside of postal
issues it is rare for a NIP to be 'late' as a result of a cock
up. The amount of people that come on here saying they are the
registered keeper when they mean they are the name on the lease
is staggering. So we have to ask the most obvious of questions.
If you can engage with more than one line answers you will get a
lot more advice and a lot less questions.

       Purchase date is 13/03/2022
Not sure where I find an issue date

Bottom of page 2, in the 'official use box' it will have the doc
ref number followed by a date in the form of DD MM YY. This will
be the date it was issued.
And the address is correct on page 1 yes?
