Hello,
Last week I parked at shaftesbury car park, I paid but I entered
the wrong registration, I put an O instead of a 0 in the app, so
I got a PCN, obviously I know it's my mistake, I was just
wondering if I can still appeal it as I did pay just made a
mistake on one number on the reg? Or I should just pay the 50%
while I still can?

Kind regards,

Two points.
1. The contravention is not paying to park - you did pay.
2. The 0/O error is common and some adjudicators will laugh this
out of the tribunal as allowed because the font used on plates
is identical and because of triviality. But some adjudicators
feel their hands are tied by the traffic order and can't use
mitigation.
You should certainly challenge - Newham has a bad reputation but
may allow this anyway.
