       I can't see a post where the police have actually refused to
       share dash cam imagery.
       The police have no idea whether the OP has a dash cam, why would
       they make something like this up and take the risk?
       The OP has not stated he was elsewhere at the time. He seems to
       know the location it happened. Why could it be a plate misread?

       As the OP was driving a campervan then depending on the weight,
       the speed limit for it on a motorway or dual carriageway could
       well have been 70mph.
