Enfield, code 33B bus lane, N18 Bull Lane Bus gate

Hi, I am hoping for some advice about a recent PCN that I
received for driving through a bus gate. I often go to this road
to park for my regular hospital appointment as the hospital
parking gets full. I was looking for parking spot on my
appointment date and didn't realise this new restriction has
been added. The sign is not very clear for a No-Entry road,
especially since Satnav had not been updated yet Once I went
through the sign and realised, I immediately went to the first
safe place and turned around. So technically I didn’t use the
road even though I went through the gate.
I would like to know if there is any grounds for appeal based on
the gate being very new AND me being a blue badge holder and
that road being the closest place to park as the hospital was
full?
Also, the code says 33B which is for buses ONLY but the sign is
for buses and bicycles – can that mean anything for making the
PCN invalid?

There's another thread running on this new bus gate. A tyical
move to make money dressed up by council b**lsh*t as an
improvement : -

Your GSV link doesn't seem to take you anywhere near Bull Lane.
GSV is not up-to-date, so doesn't show the bus gate, nor any
advance warning signs. If you want to fight this one, we really
need to see what advance warning is given. Of course you could
submit representations on the lines of being a patient at the
hospital.
Just read the absolute bu+lsh*t here : -

The signs look very clear and you'll really struggle on the
question of adequacy, they look more than adequate.

I've asked for the traffic order for now.

Here's The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (No. 4) Traffic Order
2023
HTML https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1JJxDMrORbnm0CW073kDLljuU0Bbto6pa,<br
/>it has some interesting drafting:
“the Bull Lane bus gate” means that part of Bull Lane situated
between a point 2.5 metres south of the northern kerb-line of
the entrance to the yard outside No. 22 Bull Lane and a point
14.2 metres south of the southern kerb-line of that entrance.
That suggests that the bus gate starts roughly halfway across
the entrance to the yard, which is quite obviously more than 2.5
metres wide:
HTML https://maps.app.goo.gl/37oP7dmDwZDrtgei9
but that's not where the signs are situated.
Did you submit a representation?
