I paid the fine for a PCN from Tower Hamlets after my appeal was
rejected. Now I’ve received a charge certificate, and when I
called, they confirmed my payment but then started making up
stories—first claiming it was "partial," then saying it was
"late." I was placed on hold multiple times as they kept
changing their reasoning. Despite this, they didn’t cancel the
charge certificate and said they’d get back to me. This is so
bizarre!
Any advice?

None was posted.
You now have a CC.
On the face of it you should pay because you received a NOR..
..but until you post this we're blind.

How much is the Charge Certificate for?
When did you make the payment?
And how much did you pay?
Please post up the Charge Certificate, redacting only your name
and address.

Please post up the Notice of Rejection and redact only your name

The Charge Certificate is for £160.
I made the payment on 19th August and paid £80.
For some reason, I’m not able to upload files directly to the
site, and it looks like Imgur is no longer supported in the UK —

I've now merged the topic. For convenience, here is the NoR and
the C.C.
You have only posted part of the NoR: did T.Hamlets re-offer the
discount or left it at "the penalty charge"? It looks as if you
only paid the discounted amount.

Thanks for pointing that out — it seems the website cut off the
full Notice of Rejection. Is there another way I can post the
full Rejection notice?
The only thing I noticed was that my name was misspelt on the
Notice of Rejection, but I don’t think that’s a big deal.
I paid the PCN on the towerhamlets.gov website, and at that
time, the amount shown was £80.

Do a fresh upload of the NoR's missing pages to one of yr
