One on one support and direct requests for help
   DIR By: ivanleo

I have regretfully had to add the following message to the
       council sticky:
       --- Quote ---
       >
       > June 2025 update on one-on-one support: If you want me to
personally look into your PCN you are welcome to email the PCN
to me directly at ivanleo@gmail.com but this will incur a charge
of £10 plus VAT (please attach all sides of all pages, and put
the PCN number in the subject line).
       >
       --- End Quote ---
and for the sake of transparency I'm going to explain the
       reasons for this.
I am constantly swamped with requests for help and while I would
absolutely love to personally help everyone, there are not
enough hours in the day to do this, and I cannot be up till 1 am
every night answering requests for help, this is just not
sustainable and not good for my health either.
When I do not have an outstanding backlog of appeals to type up
I will start going through forum posts as I used to, but this
has not been the case since November 2023 and I doubt it will
happen any time soon. Obviously advice given via the forum is
(and always will be) free of charge but I don't have time to
personally look at many if any posts at present.
I realise using pricing to reduce demands on my time is a
drastic measure, but the only alternatives would be to randomly
pick and choose who I help (which would seem entirely arbitrary)
or just ignore everyone who contacts me directly, and I don't
see how either of those alternatives would be any better.

Quite a few left Pepipoo for the same reason over the years. I
know Edgar, Bogsy and Clark Kent retired from posting because
the demand on time became too much for them. Even Hippo retired
for a while. Your less involvement CP will be a great loss but
it does seem as one member retires another steps forward just as
you did. As time passes, it is getting harder to win because
councils read this forum and use it to tidy up their paperwork
       and approach.

We are all at different stages in our lives. I packed in my
self-employed work because of the COVID situation and now enjoy
my retirement by engrossing myself in the fight for justice.
This forum is the best and we are improving all the time. cp8759
is the Mozart of the parking world - and I have said it to
several adjudicators. I guess that makes me Salieri! As for the
man who does not like mustard he doesn't! - he is an absolute
       gem too. ;D
I hope my karma is good and that, when I enter the Heavenly
Orchestra, I will sit at the back of the second violins and be
       able to park for free.

Only joined today, but was a member of Pepipoo before.
Have a little more time now, so will chip in where I can help to
       assist.
Older members will remember by username, I am sure.
Used to be a regular at what was then called PATAS in Islington
(on first term names with the admin staff and certain
       Adjudicators)

       @interlog Where's the big cat avatar?  8)
It would be great if you offered your services as a
representative because I know you have considerable experience.

They may well watch us - if they have the time. So may the
Tribunal. I have tempered my language over the years, of course.
There are many experts who can still advise while the actual no.
of representatives is still rather small. People do not realise
how long it takes to prepare an appeal using what JEdgar used to
call "the scattergun approach". For a Lambeth bus lane case I
did a few days ago, I spent hours digging in to all aspects. The
hearing lasted just a few minutes and I only said a few
       pleasantries! And so forth.
