Hi, I wanted to know the result of this and if any advice was
available.
I can't clearly remember the drive, but it was late at night. I
usually drive the same way back from work (night shift), so I'm
not sure why or if there are more on the way.
Had to spend a while to set up a vpn to see the old Imgur pics
as the UK is recently blocked :(
Mine's here, the same place, direction, everything.

I just opened the letter today (I haven't replied or appealed)
after spending ages yesterday morning challenging an unrelated
private parking charge that I'm just as confused by. I'm having
a really hard time and could use any help.
Can send any more info, not sure if Hippocrates was able to help
nasmin
Thanks

By way of update, the appeal for this was yesterday.
The appeal was UPHELD
here is the response
The Appellant appeared by video link and was represented by Mr
Morgan The Council was
represented by its officer Mr Whitlock.
The PCN was issued on the basis that by turning right at this
junction the Appellant had failed to
comply with the requirement to drive in the direction indicated
by the sign. However the blue "ahead
only" arrows to diagram 606 Traffic Sign Regulations and General
Directions 2016 mounted on the
traffic signals had been covered up as a result of road works,
and had been replaced not with a
similar sign but with a temporary rectangular sign to diagram
652 TSRGD, the sign used to indicate a
one-way street ("one-way traffic"). In the absence of a
replacement sign to Diagram 606 ("vehicular
traffic must proceed in the direction indicated by the arrow")
the requirement to proceed ahead only
was not correctly indicated and the Appeal must be allowed.

The chestnut did not need to be opened! Quite an appalling state
of affairs for them to adduce "evidence" 3 hours before the
hearing. Pot v Kettle metaphor except there was a Master Chef in
the middle directing the cooking. Our procedural arguments were
aired ab initio.
One of the items produced, if it were mine, I would have taken
to the High Court and, as they watch me, I ain't making an idle
threat either. The day is approaching.
