Hi, thank you for your invaluable advice so far. Everything has
happened like you said it would.
I’ve had an email about a mediation appointment on the 16th
September.
It sounds very daunting and making me nervous.
What do I do next please?

Just t a forum search for "mediation" and you will see that it
is a complete waste time and all you do is offer £0 and it is
over in minutes. It is not part of the judicial process and
there is no legally trained person involved.

Dear b789
I have had the mediation call this morning, they offered to
settle for £200. I did what you advised and rejected it and
didn’t enter into any discussion. The mediator called me back
and said I would next get a court date. I really don’t want to
go to court, I’ve held my nerve so far but the next step is
making me nervous.

Search the forum, there are many many cases involving DCB Legal
and they never get as far as going to court. Follow advice here
and nor will your case.
DCB Legal discontinue before they have to pay the court fee.

If you actually have to go to court, I will eat my hat! The
claim will either be struck out or discontinued before any
hearing.
Just to educate you why your fear of court is irrational, watch
