       Wysiwyg except when it isn't

       When I use the wysiwyg editor,  it  appears to remove carriage
       returns when the post is submitted.
       I've looked at the options for my account and can see none that
       would address this.
       Inserting "[ br ]" as a work around works,  but clunky.
       Am I missing something or is the post editor really like this?
