Yes, you do.
It’s your statement.
But you only care about it if they pay the court fee earlier in
the month.

Don't over think this.
On 8th April you will ring the court and see if the hearing fee
has been paid.
Given that they offered settlement at £100 generally
demonstrates that they don't like their chances in court.
They will likely discontinue before that date.

It means that they give up and the case never goes to court in
the first place.
