Anecdotally we see more Moorside cases actually go to a hearing
than we do DCB Legal ones.
My advice is always to proceed on the assumption you'll have to
go to court, and if they do discontinue beforehand, great.

Hi everyone, thanks for your help this far.
Email from DCB Legal received re N180. I've had nothing from the
court so far. Do I just fill out my own blank N180 and file that
through the online portal? I take it I shouldn't call them about
settlement? I've read elsewhere people being advised to refuse
to engage with mediation. Does that apply to me too?
       Thanks.
       Good Afternoon
Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform
you that our client intends to proceed with the claim.
In due course, the Court will direct both parties to each file a
directions questionnaire. In preparation for that, please find
attached a copy of the Claimant's, which we confirm has been
       filed with the Court.
Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in
achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared
to settle this case - in the event you wish to discuss
settlement, please call us on 0203 434 0433 within 7 days and
make immediate reference to this correspondence.
If you have provided an email address within your Defence, we
intend to use it for service of documents (usually in PDF
format) hereon in pursuant to PD 6A (4.1)(2)(c). Please advise
whether there are any limitations to this (for example, the
format in which documents are to be sent and the maximum size of
attachments that may be received). Unless you advise otherwise,
       we will assume not.

       Kind Regards,
       Litigation Support

Check your MCOL status, and send your own N180 when it says that
you’ve been sent one to complete. Yes, send it online and search
the forum for advice on its completion if you’ve not already
seen it. Read the N180 form and you will see that mediation is
mandatory; again search the forum for advice. Never call DCBL or
DCB Legal because you want all communication to be in writing so
you have a record. In due course they will call you and you
should hang up and block their number if so.

MCOL claim history now shows that the DQ was sent to me on
7/7/26, which I've received in the post. Twice actually.
The problem is there doesn't appear to be any way to submit it
       online instead though!?

       What do you mean?
Search the forum for “N180” and you will find many, many
       examples and guidance.

Sorry, I thought I'd replied to the last post.
Thanks. Figured out how to submit it online. I've now started
getting calls from DCB Legal, I get a prerecorded message and
       hang up.
