Loading bay PCN

I was in Tooting collecting some bulky items from a friend, it
was a sunday and even though i could have parked in the street
in the residents bays i took the oppurtunity to use the loading
bay as i was collecting several boxes with heavy items, i also
spotted a tasty Maltese shop that had opened so after loading
the vehicle i popped in to get some treats, this was around 4
minutes from loading the car, on return i had received the PCN,
i went back to the shop and asked if i they would provide a
receipt which they kindly did and had the time on it.
The loading bay road markings are almost pretty much gone, i was
genuinely loading and and cant get any documentation to prove
otherwise, only this receipt i have from a food outlet, had i
not of been loading i would have just driven another 20 feet or
so to park in the street bormally which is outside of controlled
hours. PCN attached and my own pictures to.

Absolutely yes ! The receipt from the shop doesn't prove
loading, that is just shopping and not exempt. Your
representations must concentrate on the loading of the boxes.
Include photos and some weights to back up you case.
Best not to include the shop receipt, because loading must only
take as long as necessary. Going shopping after finishing
loading is not permitted.

I would say yes they would but the council wouldnt accept it as
proof as i could easily do it myself. Its ridiculous i have to
prove weights of boxes, just another council skank money
grabbing event.

Sorry, but you are wrong, the council must accept it provided it
has a name and address on it and is signed. It would be accepted
at the adjudicators, if the council just ignore it.
