Got a CCJ for a private parking ticket I don't recognise!

Hi all,
My dad recently got a letter through the door from DCBL stating
that he has an unpaid CCJ and DCBL are instructed to collect
this debt. The letter states that the court have found in favour
of DCBL's client and hence he is supposedly liable for the debt.
The letter gives 14 days to pay the amount so that the Client
can apply to have the CCJ removed.
Thanks to this forum, I have become relatively well versed in
the process of defending yourself once you receive a claim form
(I have done so successfully 2x now) but in this case this
letter is the first communication we have received on this
particular contravention. There is a claim number on the letter
that we don't recognise and the letter does not outline what
date the alleged offence was.
As far as we know, we never got a claim form etc as per the
usual to be able to file a defence.
What are our options now?
Thanks

No, not since 2014.

Is the V5C Keeper address up to date? Was the correct address on
the V5C at the time of the alleged contravention?
Please show us the letter from DCBL, only redacting personal
details and the claim number. Was an order from the court ever
received showing the date and the reason for the default CCJ?
It sounds as though your dad, the Keeper, did not have the
correct address on the V5C for the vehicle.
What must now be done is that your dad, or you if you want to
pretend to be him, must call the CNBC first thing in the
morning, 8:30am is the best time to keep waiting time on hold
down. When you get through, you must ask for the following
details:
• On what date was the CCJ entered?
• What is the address that the claim and all documents were sent
to?
• Who is the claimant and who represented them?
Finally, and very importantly, ask the person you are talking
with to email you the Particulars of Claim (PoC) while you wait
on the phone.
When you have these details, come back and we will review and
propose how best to get the CCJ set aside.
