       NIP for Speeding

I've been sent the below NIP which details the alleged offence,
I wasn't driving the car. I would be grateful if someone could
advise what steps I should take. Should I just provide details
incl driving licence of the driver (my daughter) and move on, or
is there any option/point of appealing/disputing?
       Thanks in advance.

You are required by law to name the driver.

If there are any grounds for your daughter to dispute or defend
the speeding allegation the opportunity to do that comes later.
At this stage do only what is asked - name the driver. Failure
to name the driver within the timescale is a serious offence in
itself - more serious than the speeding offence.

If it was addressed to YOU as the registered keeper of the
vehicle it is YOU who has to fill it in sign it and send it
back, naming your daughter as the driver.
You cannot just give the form to her.
As others have said if you do not yourself fill it in and sign
it and send it back you end up with a whole heap of trouble for
yourself as failure to inform the police of the driver is a much
more serious offence and one which may/will cause insurance
companies to lift your premiums very considerably.
If doing the reply by post, I'd advise you when the form is
completed to copy it for your own records and then post it at a
post office requesting the counter clerk to provide a proof of
postage slip (which is free) and then make sure you don't loose
them! you are then safe from any claim that the police did no
receive the form in the post.
I can quote forsee a scenario with your suggestion where the
daughter forgets about it/looses the form...whatever, and then
it will be YOU who gets clobbered in court for failure to
provide the name of the driver. At that point saying that you
gave it to her ain't going to work.

Thanks, I filled in her details on their website and received a
confirmation email so all good, at least for me!
