does that LoC have the same reference number as the previous
LoC? Do you have more than one outstanding PCN with ECP?
The original LoC has the same reference as the actual claim you
have already been advised to defend.
Make sure that this new LoC is not for a different PCN. If it is
for the same PCN you are already defending, then this is an
abuse of process and DCB Legal should be reported to the SRA.

What does the back of the LoC say? This sounds very much like it
       relates to a different PCN.

You will need to file your own DQ, see
  HTML https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/ccj-for-private-parking-charge-registered-to-my-old-address/msg76361/#msg76361<br
/>for example, in which you require a hearing in person at your
       local court.
DCB Legal want to avoid a hearing in person because it costs
them ££££, you need to counter this and as defendant your choice
       will trump theirs.

Read the forum, there are loads of times this is asked and
       answered.
       For example,

Just wait for the phone call and offer £0 and it will be over in
minutes. It's not part of the judicial process and no judge is
involved. It's a complete waste of time.
